Good Location to the Metro
Really Pricey. Barcelona is a tourist trap
good neighborhood with lots of restaurants and bars, near to metro station, close to guell park, kindly staff, clean and not noisy room, fair price
The price was very attractive. The hotel is located close to the metro station Lessepse. It takes like 20-30 minutes walking (slowly) to the Passeig the Gracia. The room was very clean and comfy as well as the hotel in general. I pretty advise staying there when travelling to Barcelona.
The Staff was not always encouraged to give some advice when asking. The door was problematic as all the noise from the corridor were easily heard inside the room.
location, size of room, cleanliness, size of bathroom, very quiet easy to sleep.close to metro 10 minute or so walk to city centre
the rude blonde haired girl in reception, should not have any contact with the public ,it gives a bad impression from the start if you are greeted by such people, all other reception staff were nice and helpful,oh and 25euros a night is just too much for parking for 4 nights!
Easy access and the reception quite helpful with good english.
Quite hard to get internet access. There was a free hot spot but difficult to get connected to my mobile phone and ipad.
Lots of space. Good value. Clean. Accommodating staff.
Rooms a bit noisy. But not ridiculous.
Good value and very clean
Near to park guell, near to metro station lesseps, Few shops and church around, but lack of restaurants. big shower, nice bed and a AC in room.
Extremaly slow internet for first 4 days of our stay (0.5mbps of download), unpleasant staff at the reception desk, check out hour set at 11 a.m., No fridge in the room.
Simple, but useful interior. Good price. Clean. Nice terrace and building. Gracia is a sweet neighbourhood.
Beds are a little bit uncomfortable.
Very close to metro and park guell. Near supermarkets and cafes. Ideal location.
The staff and especially receptionists both of the them were very helpuful and pleasure to give us informations about the city. The location is very good and near metro station and the neibourhood is very friendly. We were feeling secured
I spend 6 nights and 7days in this hotel. The location was good but has other several problems.Firstly it has not been given the room that we have seen in the photos.Secondly it wasn't as clean as we excpected. As a result we had dermatological problems. Moreover the security guy not the one in the reception was extremely rude without a precise reason.
Very helpful staff Large room Fantastic bathroom Good Air-Condition in entire hostel Vending machine in the kitchen Coolest area in Barcelona!! (Place del Sol at night was super hip!) Calm area, grocery stores very close Room cleaned every day All in all: Great hostel, but the kitchen sucks. (We made fantastic dinner anyway, so we had a great stay)
Kitchen only had one cutting knife No oven in the kitchen Nobody ever cleaned the kitchen or the fridge. (No staff at all.) Internet disappeared for four nights straight Nighttime staff barely spoke english and had issues with payment technology (wanted me to pay cash!)
The hotel is situated not far away from gaudi park, for about 15 min by metro to catalona square, it is quite hotel, we had room with bathroom, everything was convenient for us.price is not high for such hotel in barcelona.if u need to spend 2-3 nights - choose this hotel
The room is really small for 2 persons, there was no balcony in the room, only a small window, no hairdrier and fridge.
hotel is just beside the metro station Lesseps and this make transport easy in the city. hotel is clean and in a nice and safe district. staff is friendly and helpfull. there wasnt a hairdryer but they suply you if you ask to reception. luckly there was a fest called like Festa Major Gracia around the streets hotel is in. if you go to Barcelona between the dates 15 - 21 August, this hotel can be the best one you will choose.
It was our second time at the hotel, which means that we'd enjoyed it during our first stay. The location is perfect - close to the city centre, close to shops, close to 2 metro stations (L3 line). The services are great, too: the kitchen is very well equipped, you can use a safe deposit box free of charge (you need to leave a 20 euro deposit, which is returned to you at the end of your stay), iron and hair dryer at the reception, unlimited wifi everywhere free of charge, scales, computers, coffee machine and snack machine for a fee. This time we had a wonderful room, with a balcony and spacious bathroom. Yet, the configuration of the bathroom is quite strange, and horizontally challenged guests might find it difficult to use.
It has nothing to do with the hotel itself but with its guest - it would be wonderful if all of them would wash the dishes well and clean the tables after meals. The kitchen is in a very good condition, but how long it will remain so depends on how the guests treat it.
Front desk lady in the afternoon of August 17, 2014 was not willing to call a taxi for my family (2 adults+2 children+3 pieces of luggage) to airport. After I told her that her manager has promised me for that, she dialed one number, gave up, and request me to walk to the main road to wave a taxi by myself. Then, I walked 200 meters to the main road and waved a taxi by myself. Although the taxi driver used meter, he charged me 40 Euro to go to airport (When my family took taxi from airport to this hotel, it cost 25 Euro). The point is that: 1. Do you know it is difficult for 2 adults taking 2 small kids with 3 pieces of luggage to walk for 200 meters to main road? 2. Do you know that your hotel calls a “reliable” taxi is important for a foreign family? 3. The hotel charged me 591.77 Euro for 4 nights. It is not a good price.
Close to the metro and just 2-3 stations from the city center . Nice terrace. Nice neighborhood at night , close to pubs and restaurants, just take a walk down the street and explore by foot :)
The breakfast Buffet was poor but for the price i can understand why :) Only spanish TV . No fridge.
Location. Beds were comfortable. Room was spacious. Possibility to keep your luggage in lockers for 2eur all day after your check out.
Fungi in the tile joints in the shower. No security box in the room. Breakfast could be better for 5eur (more variety of bread or biscuits, it was only bag bread not fresh).
It was very spacious, we had a private bathroom and balcony and very good air conditioning even at our cheap double room. Beds were comfortable to sleep in and you couldn't hear the other guests (rarer than you'd think!).
There weren't a lot of restaurants nearby. But that's not a big deal.
The facilities of kitchen and laundry room were perfect for my family; especially after a few weeks of traveling in Europe.
No wifi access in hotel rooms, only common areas.
MOST of the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. There was only one female staff member that we felt was a bit short with us. We were able to do laundry on site. Our room was a good size. There wasn't much to it, but as we were out and about Barcelona this was fine. Nice clean bathroom. This hotel was in walking distance to La Sagrada Familia and the very nice avenue that Casa Batllo and La Pedrada are on. Also, there is a stop for one of those hop on, hop off busses within a ten minutes walk. Decent breakfast.
Everything was just perfect. Residencia is in peaceful and authentic part of the city (Gracia), 10 minutes walk from Guell park. Metro station Lesseps is less than 5 minutes walk. One can arrive in city center in less then 15 minutes by metro and less then 30 minutes on foot. Staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms are quite good, although not on the highest level comparing to other hotels in Barcelona. In my opinion, Residencia is one of the best option in Barcelona considering value for money.
The location is not good if you go to Barceloneta beach every day, as you need to change two metro lines (about 25 minutes)
nice and clean rooms, good room service, friendly stuff, good internet connection, close to Fontana and Lesseps metro stations, small walking distance to Passaig de Gracia and one of Gaudi's houses as well as Parc Guell (we reccomend going from Valcarca though - less tourists and great views)
No restaurant or bar
