The only minus about the kitchen is that even though the guests are supposed to clean after themselves (obviously) I wish the staff could check in from time to time to make sure everything is in place and tidy things up a bit. Also there should be 2 freezers and 2 fridges since both of them were packed with food and drinks.
We had a room on the 4th floor with a small balcony. On the 4th floor there was also a nice rooftop terrace with sunchairs. The wifi was excellent even though we were at the top. They cleaned everyday (except sunday, don't know why maybe they don't clean the rooms then?) even though we some days left our room late, changed towels, made our beds, new toilet paper. The breakfast was good with 2 types of toast bread, 2 jams, butter, cornflakes and cocoapuffs, fruit like apples and bananas, tea, different types of coffee, hot milk, cold milk, 2 types of juice, yoghurt packages, cheese and ham, scrambled eggs, bacon/sausages, fried tomato halves and mussins and milkbread in plastic wrappers so you could take with you to have a snack later. They also have a communal kitchen in the other building (just across the courtyard) which had a microwave, freezer, fridge, stove , a water kettle, vending machine with snacks and drinks. There are many places to sit in the courtyard and the wifi also works there. The hotel is very nicely located close to Lesseps metro station which is on the L3 line that takes you directly to the stations across La Rambla (Catalunya, Liceau and Drassanes). It's a little far though if you want to visit the beach often. There are restaurants and lots of supermarkets in the area as well.
