The unappropriate price-service balance
Near the metro station and really clean room and so kind staff. Also there have a good night view on the roof floor.
Shower curtain is so week. So I kept carefull while I took a shower. If not water all over the floor.
I had a great stay here. I travelled alone but felt safe the whole time as there are good security facilities in the way of key card entrances. The rooms are small but have everything you need, and the kitchen is well equipped. Cafe good for basic food and is cheap. Lovely roof terrace with pool and beautiful views of the city. Wifi has a great connection. The hotel is only a 2 min walk from the metro station. Overall I had an excellent stay here.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
The design of the place was appealing. Staff were so helpful! It's a little out the way of the centre but still great distance to get to the beach and the hotel is five minutes from razzmatazz! The biggest and best nightclub in the city! We had a self catering room which was handy. And the pool on the roof was great with wonderful views. The hotel is nearest to the Sagrada familia and some other interesting areas, like the two twin buildings which sit on the beach in the middle of loads of bars and restaurants. They're the two tallest buildings in Barcelona so you can't miss them. If you have a lengthy stay and want to watch your money where you can. Then bring extra towels and keep on top of your room as maid services cost extra which was a bit of a pain.
The location of the hotel was a bit annoying after a while but it's cheaper because of that. I would have like to have had a better choice of room services. Such as better quality food and maybe some near by restaurants. However this is predominately a student complex so I understand. The hotel was a pleasant experience and the staff were very helpful which made up for the negatives. Having to pay extra for towels cleaned and room was annoying .
Location is quite good: 2 metro stations are not too far from the hotel. Quite. Clean. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Everyone speak (or understand) English. Breakfast in a cafe on the 1st floor is good enough for its price (5€). Coffee is not bad. Wifi - free and fast ;) so, if you want to have a bed and shower for a low price - welcome!
2 or 3 funeral services just in front of a hotel (20 m)!! Thanks god, we didn't see a ceremony.. And they don't clean your room daily, only if you ask and pay - it costs 5 euros as far as I remember. Bathroom is super small, smallest bathroom I've ever seen.
price, wi-fi, floor kitchen, roof
cleaning only once per week
Cold water in shower
small pool on the top floor, staff at the reception was nice and helpful.
very small room, window opens only half an inch so the is no ventilation whatsoever, cleaning is extra fee, ac didn't work.
wifi for free nice staff at reception
building works next to the hotel made it impossible to sleep no room service (cleaning, changing of towels etc) unless extra pay
The location and rooms were good. The canteen downstairs was to good to get a quick bite.
The floor was a bit dirty when we checked in. The bathroom was very small and shower was not comfortable to use.
The location was good, two tram stops from olympic port/ three metro stops from pl cataluyna. Good wifi in room Security level very high
Room smelt of smoke Student residence so very noisy No ventilation in bathroom No kettle in room and shared kitchen disgusting Expensive for what you get- essentially a noisy room in a student village Decor was tired and needed refreshing Staff in cafe were rude and unhelpful
There was a problem with the shower
The roof-top pool is awesome with an excellent view. The staff was very polite and accommodating.
The food wasn't that great and the room was smaller than it looked in the pictures. The bathroom was REALLY small. Uncomfortable.
- The staff has been helpful and kind - The Hotel is well located, 2mn by walk from a subway and tram station. - There is a laundry in the basement
-A bit disappointed by the state building comparing with the photos. -The place looks more like university residence instead of an hotel.
Close to metro and walking distans to beach. Roof terrace was a nice touch.
Staff were helpfully, very clean and felt safe with the sucurity and key card only access. Great view of the city from the roof. Good atmosphere and pretty ladies
Some times lack of water in the vending machine
Staff's servis is excellent
Bathroom's aircondition is poor and there is no refrigerator, hairdryer...
Location is very good, few metro stops from city center, not far from coast. Access to the roof with swimming pool. Friedly stuff.
Conditions of room might be a bit better. And more convenient organized.
Very good location, 2 mins from metro station, 15 walking mins from Sagrada Familia, 7 from Ciutadella Park and 15 from Arc de Triomf. Sense of security and friendly staff plus nice view from top of the buildings.
Rooms should be cleaned at least every two days and bed sheets changed at that time too! Swimming pool could be cleaner too.
The staff was very kind and helpful. The location was great. The room price was very reasonable. The WiFi was strong everywhere. The roof terrace was a great place to relax.
My room was next door to a communal kitchen where people played loud music until 2AM.
Room with bathroom is 2 by 4m. Location in industrial area. Bathroom was smelling and they did not change that. Breakvast was poor.
Close to metro station. Staff were somewhat helpful; not all of them were.
The fact that we were not allowed to bring in other guests with us if they were not on the room name. All hotels allow this, and this was supposed to be a hotel and not actually student halls so do not understand why we could not bring other friends in just to chill for abit. not to stay and live there. Also we paid for the breakfast but there was no breakfast really available. All you could have was a fruit and croissant; no hot food. No cleaning service provided.
Wonderful pools and splendid view on the roof! Nice cooking lounges and good cafeteria with reasonable prices and selection downstairs.
Rooms were really small - more like cabins than real rooms.
