I liked the kitchen and the location of the
The excelente location for visit and go out at night
The room dont have AC
Staff, Kitchen, number of showers and bathrooms.
There is no air-condition except in 12 bed room. You cannot use kitchen, leisure room or dining room after 22. They all are (locked).
Kitchen is well equipped and have free coffee/tea.
Internet doesn't work trough in whole property. Handling internet is annoying. Two people bedroom bed is not so good 4 sleep. There is no air-condition except in 12 bed room. You cannot use kitchen, leisure room or dining room after 22. They all are (locked).
Kind, helpful and friendly staff, great location just off Diagonal and near Passeig de Gracia. Not too full so there's always space available in the kitchen and common areas.
There's no air con, which can be a bit unpleasant when its really hot. Fans in the bedrooms do mitigate this to some extent but as in most hot countries it's advisable to sleep with the window open if at all possible.
I had a very nice time there. If I needed something I would ask and the staff would take care of it. It is a clean place. It has a nice area to sit and chat, eat, cook. There is not a bad single point.
Little bit noisy because near the street
It's close to the center and cheap. The kitchen is good equipped and also the rooms (safe).
2 of 4 staff there were not that friendly. Besides, I think nowadays it's inadeqante to make you pay for wifi! This should be included in every hostel. Also, they would make you pay if you wanna leave your luggage on the left day - from 11a.M. to 13p.M. it would cost 3€, later, untill 5 or 6p.M., it would be 6€. And what do you do if you're leaving later? For that price (or even cheaper), you can find a place on the stations for you luggage. In total, I had the impression that they are all the time tryiing to charge extra (also for check-ins later then 22p.M., every hour later would cost 10€. Why complicating the whole thing more?) Also the common area: it's only opened untill 22p.M. why that? They say, not to disturb others, who want to sleep. But the others don't sleep in common areas, so it's worse if you male people stay at their rooms (the only place left when the common areas alre closed) if they still don't wanna sleep, that't just contrproductive and on this way will make people disturb others while sleeping. There's a lot that can be improved, especially the treating of guests!
clean shared showers and toilets, as well the rooms comfortable lounge, kitchen very well equipped, great balcony safe, beautiful and quiet area; supermarket and bars nearby within walking distance of most of the major tourist attractions & close by 2 metro stations friendly staff, always with a smile and always help when needed you can not get anything better for that price
The room was clean.
Mainly the personal and the services (internet).
Had a very friendly, homely feel and the live in staff all seem like family. Nothing is ever a problem
The showers lost there water preassure however this might have had something to do with the building works going on
Clean room and toilets. Staff very friendly. I always saw them cleaning.
The sink in the room wasn't working
It's close to Sagrada but quite far from the old town. The kitchen is great and the common room as well. Secured residence. The room is clean.
No 24h reception so it's hard when you need something. The internet is not really working but since noone is there, you can't complain. and no, the internet is not free.
-Pretty clean -There was a lounge to hang out in which was very comfortable -The kitchen was very well equipped and spacious -It felt very secure as there were two locked doors to get into the hostel -Within walking distance of most of the major tourist attractions
-Despite advertising it, there was no free wi-fi and the two computers with internet were down my whole stay [5 nights] -The owners didn't seem to speak any English -The owners just barged in without knocking - I found this rude and uncomfortable -No maps or directions were provided. We didn't even both to ask as the owner spoke no English. -Everything you needed to pay extra for which I'm not used to at youth hostels. Wi-fi, storing your luggage for a day, etc.
the only thing i didnt like is i asked to leave my suitcase there for a few hours and was told it would cost £5, iv never been charged for this service before ever, and i have travelled fairly extensively
The place was quite close to the city centre and main sights. Rooms even though were quite small, but had everything necessary for a convenient stay (bed, wardrobe, table, air conditioner and sink). Shared bathrooms toilets and kitchen were clean. Free coffee, tea and cereals were provided every morning. Stay was pleasant and very good for the price paid.
Strict check-in and check-out times.Very inflexible for late guests.
Located close to the Metro and La Pedrera, not far from Casa Batlló. Great neighborhood for exploring with lots of restaurants nearby. Generally quiet at night for a metropolitan area. I didn't use the kit hen for anything but coffee (included in the price).
Floor in my room was dirty, possibly because it had balcony access.
Friendly staff, did not speak much English but was able to clearly communicate essential information and always gave lots of smiles. A great balcony. Free internet on the common room computers and free coffee and tea. Great location close to Diagonal and Verdageur, Also only about a 20 min walk to the old city. Met lots of friendly people staying there. Big kitchen equipped with everything you'd need. Great price.
The staff was really kind, and it has a very good location.
The room was a bit "oldish" and it was not very comfortable (but it was clean).
No complaints at all even i was late to check out but they havent charged for that.
The room doors could be more safe.
Broken room washer
for that money the best what I could get.
Nothing, Never. If you choose this hostel, it means you throw out the money to trash.
If you choose this hostel, it means you throw out the money to trash. I curse this hostel seriously. Woman is really unkind. Hostel is dirty and not comfort. Bathroom is the worst thing because of awful smell like trash. Also wifi and locker is not free. it is the worst hostel in my life.
dirty cold showers
We have to pay for everything, for the wifi, locker, luggage storage...
