Good location Good price Friendly receptionist
FREEZING cold, no heater. We were literally shaking. Very loud from the street outside
No heating - winter time
I took a shower with cold water. And too dirty to sleep. I cannot forget the smell of the room. And the worst thing is that there was no heater. I felt such a homeless person when I slept in there. It is totally waste of money.
have to call check-in
have to call to check-in
The location is in the center very near from the Cathedral.
The night that we stay was very very cold and the room didn´t have heating system or extra blankets. It was a very cold night.
We only spent 2 nights here. It was in the perfect location. The room was just a double bed with a desk and a storage for clothes.. Very basic but for the price and location it did the job.
The only negative was that ther was no lift for my suitcase.
Location is so good!
Very cold! And windows are in a so loud street! We could not sleep.
Clean private room, strong wifi signal, great location.
No heat (only important if you stay in Dec/Jan/Feb probably.) Shared bathrooms are not cleaned regularly. Not many kitchen utensils available if you plan to cook.
Location couldn't be better. Very cheap
It was really cold in the night without any heating!
Excellent value for money
Very central location. The cleaning lady (not the check-in lady) was really nice.
Beware, they have no proper reception facilities - when you get to the street, you see nothing, absolutely nothing, which says this is the place. There is a sign on a locked door which says 'Check-in' and gives a local number. If you don't have a local phone, it could be a real hassle just getting to meet the staff - it took me a good while in my case, and once you are allowed to get into the office for the check-in, you have to deal with a gruff and unwelcome woman, who speaks not a word of another language than Spanish! You would expect staff at a popular tourist location to get by with at least the basics of the Common language, but not here. The room itself is ok but remember these are flats in a crowded building - each flat is laid back-to-back with one or 2 other flats with a small 10ft by 10ft common inner quadrangle into which every room, kitchen and bathroom's window looks out to. This means you hear echoing noise from every flat on every one of the 6 floors all the time. And considering that there are many people having party nights even on weeknights going right up to 4am, forget the idea of getting some sleep on some nights. The kitchen is not much use as the cooker knobs were disconnected making it unusable, and there was no washing-up liquid or cuttlery or other similar stuff. This place is probably tailored specifically for locals who can live with or are part of the above lifestyle.
inexpensive location facilities staff
check-in was a bit of a faff
VFM Location Staff Simple
-Price -Friendly & helpful staff -Location -WiFi
-No hot water -Noise...walls are paper thin.
Very clean hotel. The hotel is ideally located.
Night is very frozen. Maybe 16 C.
We were taken to another apartment nearby and both had great locations.
There were no staff at the property, you had to call a phone number for them to appear (quite fast though). The bed linen didn't look too clean for us so in the end we didn't stay here and booked from another hotel.
Location. Staff. Tranquillity.
Location is the only plus point
Finally found the place booked in then was led to another street and was put on the 2nd floor which had 2 bedrooms and a sofa in the lounge area shared toilet bathroom the weekend I was here the sofa was being used as a bed at night so was out of use wake up to use toilet in morning and you have 3 people sat staring at you making you feel unwelcome as you trying to use bathroom the bathroom was full of there stuff no lock on door the room is above a taxi rank and expect the noise to go on till about 6am if you lucky enough to get the room I had you can expect the 3 permanent residents to be up to small hours of the morning drinking and making noise plus the joy of the bloke on the sofa snoring all night it's more of a bedsit than a hotel/hostal be warned if you looking to sleep look elsewhere take into account the taxi rank and takeaways bars etc all underneath your room
Very close to the center. Keys are always with you and you can get in and out whenever you want. Instead off "check-out" you only need to leave the keys in the room and be free))
Extremely bed sound isolation. Seams like people from neighborhood rooms live right in your one, can here even their breath...
Great location, clean rooms and great price
a bit noisy in the night, hard to get in contact with staff to check in and out.
Odd set-up, the main office is in one building while the room is in another across the street. The woman at the desk was a bit cold, and in order to be let in to the lobby you need to call a number on a paper sign on the street. :/ I think next time I will search for another hostel.
