Paid wifi for only one system at a time, kitchen facilities very basic, pots and pans low quality no welcome pack (kitchen soap, sponge etc.) To start you off especially with such a late check in so you have to hit the shops almost immediately.TV tiny with only local channels and remote control did not work even after changing it twice.
Clean and spacious apartment in a good location. Gym and pool access. Paid for secure parking but you can park on the street as well.
Our apartment was very bland - the most basic and sparse furniture, not comfortable and no decorative touches - nothing like the photographs on the website. Kitchen very poorly stocked e.g. no wine glasses, no tea towel, dish cloths, wash up liquid or bin bags. You need to buy all the kitchen basics if self catering. Although the limited spa times are published on the website, you need to read this as including pool opening times. My kids were disappointed they couldn't use the pool until 6pm - for young children it is then too late. Swim hats are €5 each and you need one to sit in the jacuzzi too! PAYG Wi-Fi coverage is limited to only 2 blocks of accn and we were told not to waste our money. Out of season the town seems very closed up; we spent quite some time searching for a recommended family restaurant 'Olivers' to find no sign of life. Thankfully Portaventura was open but beware the water park doesn't open until late May. On a separate note, our hire car from Barcelona was a waste of money as you don't need a car in Salou and after all the damage waiver costs and extortionate return empty fuel costs, probably would've been cheaper to use public transport.
This is a great location if you are planning to do nothing other than lay down your heads after spending all day at the theme park. The check-in process was very slow but reception staff were friendly and helpful and happy to print out our boarding passes on our departure day.
Nothing we disliked really but I expect free wifi in a modern facility. Would have preferred longer opening hours in the spa area.
Great location from which you can walk to both port aventura and beach, spacious modern flat, big balconies, indoor pool, sauna etc. quiet location, playground for kids, paddle court. It had everything!
Rooms are very clean, and you can cook anything you want, beds are soft.
as soon as we walked through the door we could tell it was more than we expected, with a fully equipped kitchen,2 bedrooms,2 bathrooms, balconys on both sides of the flat, and even a spiral staircase upto the solarium. It was spottlesly clean.better
It was all a little to quite for me at this time of year, to few places open, but know for another time.
It was east to walk to the beach front. The indoor pool was good.
A bit far from everything.
Large apartment and well equipped kitchen.
Nice place for family's plenty to do so
I didn't like the neighbors lack of respect for others. Shouting banging and general drunken behavior at half past one in the morning. The place itself is gorgeous, just make sure you get good neighbors!!
The receptionist was amazing. Multi Lingual, excellent service. She moved a group of teenagers instantly due to people harassing them. The room was huge, clean and warm. I loved it here!
Spa poor, hardly open and unfriendly staff, plus only over 14s. Beds uncomfortable. Fair bit of noise on site at weekends.
Modern, very very large apartments.kitchen well equipped. Good location.
The mattress was rather hard (a cheap quality) why not cover the mattress with comfort pads? We didn't use the swimming pool or sauna but was told we would have to wear caps for both sauna and the pool! Coming from a sauna culture where one is naked we found this nonsense and will have second thoughts about further visits to Spain.
Convenient stop over after a long drive and suited our pocket. Most important was secure locked parking. Also convenient to drive into the underground and then take the lift and baggage to our room. Very spacious apartment.
Wi fi did not work and swimming pool was too cold. Seating in room was not comfortable and beds not comfortable
Staff very friendly and very helpful
Salou is DEATHLY during the winter, great for relaxing but almost everything is closed. Summer is the opposite and the place booms with holiday makers. Spa Aqquaris will be very popular so book early. Concerned that the pool and gardens were not very big and may get crowded though there are no shop or food facilities on site so most people probably go to the fabulous beach anyway.
Drove from Leicestershire to Spain for a few days 'adventure'. Booked 2 nights at the Spa Aqquaria while travelling. Looked a bit like Cell Block H from the outside. Receptionist spoke excellent English and was really helpful, polite and cheery. The apartment was AMAZING. Fully equipped 2 bedroom Luxury Apartment. Kitchen with fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, pots and pans etc. Set up for 6 with dining table and 6 chairs (table was Glass so bear that in mind). Large lounge with bed settee (spring type, looked kingsize). coffee table easy chairs, flat screen tv et al. Large twin bedroom next to shower room. VERY spacious kingsize master with en suite and vanity sink and mirror. And the icing on the cake? Full length balcony BOTH SIDES. Lounge and Kitchen overlooked the Pool and Gardens and both bedrooms were on the road side, though it was a good way away and noise was practically none. Well placed, only five minute walk to shops and restaurants, and 10 minutes to the beach. (we both walk with sticks and that was our timing). On site spa is lovely with pool, hot tub, steam and sauna. Gym and fitness rooms were well equipped, clean and well placed. Would have loved to stay longer (wife was enquiring about a MONTH) but had other arrangements so maybe next time.
Everything about this hotel is fantastic. It's clean and the apartment was so nice big and clean very safe for our baby to walk around in. Will be coming back very soon.
We were there for the winter Bank Holiday mainly for PuertAdventura. The apartment was excellent for our needs. The receptionist made our holiday with her helpfullness, friendliness, efficiency and her welcome. We will defintely stay again.
No hair dryer..
Cleanliness esp.the toilet was clearly disinfected..
Could be cleaner WiFi should be free
Location Private parking
wi-fi was too expensive and only allowed on one item at a time
Clean, tidy, convenient
The apartment was one of the best we have stayed in. All mod cons were included and the rooms were spacious and modern. The location was good too with great access to Salou town centre and the Port Aventura theme park only a 10 minute walk away. Superb
Timing of the gym, too late. Morning wld be better. No ventilation in indoor pool. Too much chlorine, child got sick from the fumes. Hard for everyone to breath.
The apartment was nice. Staff were helpful.
Outside pool was freezing to the point my daughter didn't want to get in, i stayed in for 10 min max and couldn't take the cold any more. Receptionist was late to open up for me to obtain my deposit. One TV channel
Excellent walking location to the beach and portaventura. I felt the security was good as you were able to lock your doors and place shutters. Staff were friendly and helpful
No dish cleaning or drying cloths. Only very shallow soup dishes, no deep dishes suitable for cereals etc. Very minor complaints for what is a great facility. Most annoying complaint - expensive wifi only worked on the outside balcony - would not work anywhere inside the aprtments
Apartment was very good, no major complaints
Added extras - pay for Wifi, 24 Euros and can only get one gadget per payment! Pay for safe and pay for late checkout/check in- we had requested late checkout on 2 previous occasions as we had a late flight, we were told this would be possible until 2000hrs, we asked again at check in, affirmative, and to ask day before to confirm, when day came not possible had to check out a 1500hrs, this meant wandering around salou in 32 degree heat until airport flight at 2250hrs, not good and we had to pay 15 euros for that benefit!. Was informed before arriving to collect our keys at another complex, which we got a taxi to, only to be told the keys were at Aquaria, so a wasted journey and money. Too many rules and regulations around pool area, no drinks! not a good rule when it is blisteringly hot, no food, no beds, no lilos, no music, no nothing! pool never opened till 1200hrs, had to sit or lie on grass, (not good as ants everywhere) not allowed to make sounds so kids could not relax and enjoy, scared to laugh as this was considered a noise! so only went once as did not feel comfortable. Never used indoor pool as again too many rules and requirment for head cap. Beds are hard and mattress paper thin, never slept well and we all had aches and pains in the mornings, so needs attention. Starting to show signs of deterioration in bathrooms, these need attention, grouting, shower screen, floors. The internal door handles, need urgent change they are large and long and repeatedly caught your arms, elbows as you walked past, covered in bruises :( The worlds smallest television! Sorry Aquaria you need to step up your game in relation to making guests feel at ease instead of walking on eggshells :(
Size of the apartment was great. Aircon a bonus kept us cool. Balcony at bedrooms, kitchen & livingroom was a bonus. Washing machine & drying rail great. Lovely pool & outside space, close to all amenities. Well decorated and laid out. Lift to all floors. Safe (for a price) Wifi (for a price) late check in/out (for a price). Looks good and gated community so very secure. Would return, however would need some things addressed to persuade us, like the rules and mattresses and bathrooms and door handles, and all the "added extras". Lovely location.
Limited opening times of pools. Some staff members didn't have adequate information on the locations, bus connections.etc. Expensive wifi (2 euro/1 hour, 8 euro/day, 25 eur/week) + only 1 eur coins accepted...
Spacious apartments, huge balcons, nice pools. The apartments are well equipped (washing machine etc)
The entrance to our block was quite dark. This could have been due to the fact that we were there very late in the season though.
The location of the apartment was excellent. Easy walking distance to Port Aventura and the beach front.
