Hotel Restaurante Toruño  

The hotel a very comfortable and attractive looking hotel in the most perfect position next to the lagoon. The views from the rooms over looking the lagoon are magnificent and afford some wonderful bird-watching. The general location is excellent for access into the Coto Donana National and Naturals parks. The standard of the food in the restaurant is very high. The staff at the hotel could not have been more welcoming.

The standard of the breakfasts was abysmal - given how good the evening meals were, this was the only disappointment.

Walls are a bit thin and sounds from the next room very early in the morning woke us..

We loved the situation, the view from the room and the very friendly staff.

Location - close to Donana Park-overlooked lake - strange but interesting town.

Room was very small.

Toplocation for birdwatchers

Rather expensive for poor quality

Excellent location for anyone interested in birdwatching. The village of El Rocio is unique and fascinating.

Not good for less abled. No rooms in the hotel to cater for less abled guests.

Location for bird watching

A good location in El Rocio, some rooms face the marshland which have good open views. Comfortable beds and the breakfast included was excellent

location with view on lake if you're lucky and located next to thier good restaurant. Nice atmosphere and friendly people

Watching local people arriving on their horses to drink at the bar and the views over the marshes.

The friendlyness of the staff, the view from the room, the town (like a Western Town in the USA), the beauty of the building

Very well run hotel with excellent facilities for the price. The hotel is close to the Cota Donana Nature Reserve and has excellent views for lovers of nature. It makes a very good base for visiting the reserve and the surrounding area.

We could find no fault

I've been before so know what to exxpect,the Staff were friendly without being in your face.

The Reception/Lounge area, had a Drinking Water Cooler, that was empty for the 4 days we were there,on the other hand, the Manzanilla tap (which was free), was always full.

Situated in very interesting town like a scene from a Wild West movie. Large marshland from hotel but unfortunately it was dried up as it was July. It is wonderful view from hotel in Spring - wildlife etc. Hotel restaurant offered good food. Only good eating place in my opinion in town. Very interesting area called Doñana Park to see - wildlife etc. but local seaside town very basic and not good for shopping. Suitable for one or two nights break. Very nice hotel. No lift!

No lift. Otherwise everything was good.

This is a basic family run Hotel. The situation is amazing, the rooms ok. Free wifi in the reception area.The restaurant very good and reasonably priced with fantastic views over the marsh. Very much a one horse town and really interesting.

bathroom didn't work, beds too small, hard and lumpy, restaurant is a rip off, interior rooms lose the value of the location

Totally fabulous hotel in a quite astonishing setting - our room looked out on to a lake with flamingos and storks. Watching the sunset each evening from the comfort of our bedroom was one of the most magical experiences imaginable. Good breakfast in the restaurant just beside the hotel. We had an excellent dinner there one evening as well.

A very small niggle - and so much worth the extra effort once we saw the view - but since there's no lift, it would have been lovely to have had someone to help with the luggage up the stairs when we first arrived.

Room cold on arrival, Room Smelled heavily of dissinfectant. Noise of Maid moving furniture above our room at 8.00/People talking loud echoing through the corridors!./Maid mopping round my feet in public lounge whilst on laptop a 5.00pm in the evening.Won't be back.!!! Also nothing to do with the hotel but the streets are Dreadfull as you probably know,it had rained heavily on our arrival,so my wife had to walk to the hotel along the front as she has a very bad back & we had not hired a "land rover" just a saloon car??.

The hotel is beside a lake with lots of interesting birds.

La ubicación extraordinaria. La comida en el restaurante muy buena y la gente muy amable. Estuvimos en la habitación del "palomar" con unas vistas increibles al parque de Doñana

Creo que el hotel está un poco dejado; deberían cuirdarlo un poco más.

Vi fick ett rum med utsikt mot en vägg (innergård). Det var två meter till väggen.

Excellente situation géographique, bon restaurant, accueil sympathique.
