Within a short walk of many restaurants, the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas were both on your door step.
Breakfast expensive, crowded and the food was not good.
The hotel is well situated, we could walk everywhere. The staff was also very helpful. We found the rooms very clean and spacious, as we were 3 travelling together we had a room which sleeps 2 and our daughter had her own adjoining room. The street the hotel is situated in is very busy but once in the room we found it quiet. The air condition was very welcome as it was very hot outside. All in all we could not fault anything, we had an amazing time.
Can't say there was anything we did not like
Excellent location just off Las Ramblas, within walking distance to the port and Catalanya square. Close to some very nice restaurants and bars. I would definitely return.
Some of the rooms are quite small.
Walking distance to beach and other places tourists wants to visit. Comfortable room, newly renovated bathroom.
The man who seemed to be the manager was aggressive towards the staff when we checked in. Not very nice.
The location is excellent and the room in general was clean and comfortable. The service was very good :)
Only the pillows were a little bit to hard for my taste. Thats all :)
LOCATION was fantastic. Happy once we got a hairdryer from reception for a 10E deposit. Rooms 261 + 262 were nice and quiet.
Paying for WIFI, and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
we took a 2 day trip to barcelona in middle of our holiday at tossa de nar. the hirel was booked a short while before our holiday. we arrived early at 0900 but they checked us in stored our luggage and that allowed us a full day sightseeing. on return at 1700 we got our key to floor3 and followed a winding corridor to room 330. on wntering we thought we had been given the wrong room! a full suite loung bedroom and a corridor to an enormous bathroom what a room for the price of a premier inn bang in the middle of the gothic area. it made our short trip extra special fantasric
Perfect location. Clean. Quiet. Great if you want to spend your money on being at the centre of things rather than on a spacious room with nice features.
Very small double bed. Practical furnishings but no mini bar/tea and coffee/iron/toiletries etc.
Great location between two metro stops and Place de la Reial square. Clean and comfortable - although sounds like we were lucky to get a double bed
The hotel room we had on the 4th floor was great. Relatives staying on the 3rd floor had a much smaller room but payed less.
no services in the hotel, bar, restaurant, café. Room very dismal!
We liked location, lobby very inviting, we could check in early
No tissues in rm, bed uncomfortable, people smoking across ctyd, very bothersome smoky smell most of night!
Staff seemed good and spoke English well enough to communicate
Having to pay for wifi which only had a limited service anyway. Unable to Skype family in Australia as service too poor. Having to pay for the use of the safe. Worst breakfast we have ad in a month of travelling in Europe
Great location. Friendly and comfortable.
WiFi should be included.
helpful staff for issues that shouldn't have occurred in the first place like TV not working or poor internet
interior tired, strong odor in the bathroom, no or very poor internet reception (wifi) in the room
Location is fantastic
A bit tired and basic but suits couple of day stay in a fabulous city
Extremly noisy. The room in the Rialto was the worst hotel room I had in the last 30 years !!! There were drunken people out on the street making noise up to 3 am in the morning. The noise in my room was terrible. At 7 am people cleaning the street made a terrible noise. The windows did not close totally and the noise was so loud nobody would have been able to sleep. WiFi did not work half the time.
The location is all I can say nice about this hotel
Our room was very warm we had to keep the window open at night, on our last room we couldn't stick the heat any longer so we asked to be moved to another room, the next morning I woke with four bites, two on my leg, one on my thigh and one on my hand, I had been awake most of the night scratching,m i took pictures of these bites as they becamse very itchy and I had to go to the chemist when I returned home forn cream, I still have the marks on my body, I would have informed the reception on check out but the fellow did not ask us how our stay was so I thought what was the point, I ahve family and friends travelling to Barcelona this year and I honestly don'think I could recommend the Rialto hotel.
Excellent location. Good value for money and very helpful staff.
Central location and fair price, easy to get to many astractions by foot, closr to tour bus stops and main attractions
Breakfast is not automatically included with the room
