Hotel Riazor is located on the seafront, next to Coruña’s Riazor Beach and 5 minutes’ walk from Deportivo La Coruña’s Riazor Stadium. The rooms have free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. All rooms at the Riazor Hotel have a private bathroom with a hairdryer. There is also a minibar and a telephone, and some rooms have wonderful sea views. The Riazor has a cafe-restaurant serving traditional Spanish and international food. There are numerous restaurants on the promenade just outside the hotel. Its great to stay in a hotel where you dont have to complain once and that exactly how our 3 night stay worked out. The Hotel Riazor sells itself as a three star though it would probably be more accurate to say 3.5.The location is superb .Just across the street from the beautiful Riazor Beach with a wonderful esplanade. We had a seaview for just 6 euros per night. We were within walking distance of the port and wonderful inexpensive restaurants.Room was comfortable with great blackout blinds and no noise from outside. Bathroom very good though we stayed in room 601 which has a peculiar shape leaving the toilet difficult to get at.Breakfast basic with good cheese and meats. Excellent free wi fi. Great speed. Recommend this hotel without hesitation.

beach front on a really great beach. the bars/restos around the hotel weren't great, there are better closer to the big square, but the walk was very easy and pleasant along the beach. the interior is dated, but in a still attractive way. unfortunately the exterior is the ugliest building on a pretty unattractive stretch of beachside buildings. sitting on the beach, looking at the hotel, made me feel bad for contributing to such architectual sins.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to have a computer available for guests as we were not travelling with our own. I had requested a double bed but we were given a twin room and the staff said they couldn't change it although the hotel clearly wasn't full. There was an almost constant noise of something that sounded like a heating ventilator from our room, which was facing an inner courtyard (this didn't seriously disturb us but it would have been nicer to to have it).

The friendliness and assistance of the room cleaning staff was excellent. The quality of the rooms was poor as where the furnishings. The room contents could only be described as 'basic' but the bathroom layout was much better. The breakfast area and quality of the breakfast where well below average and certainly bad value for money.

Good location and price; however, it is very difficult to reach the hotel due to the fact there is heavy traffic and/or restrictive street designs within the city. If you don't have a detailed map or GPS, it is almost impossible to drive in and out of Coruna, much less find your hotel. Major traffic tieups are continuous during peak hours and one-way streets are the norm.

We stayed in a triple room that was huge, very clean, and very confortable. This hotel has a great quality/price relationship and has a very good location...you just have to cross the road to go to the beach, and you are 15m walking from the city center. Everything was pretty decent!

Location good. Hotel appeared tired. No fault of the hotel, but I wish we had been made aware. Beach concerts were on the 2 nights we stayed Aug. 2011. Concerts ended 01.30, crowd eventually disappeared at 04.00, singing and shouting en route home. music was very loud, heavy metal not the greatest lullaby.

Amazing sight from our balcony!at ten minutes walking from the old city center, in front of the beach, at ten minute walking from a huge "talassotherapy" and spa center. Private parking nearby. Very clean and big room.
