Hotel Riazor    

Great location with amazing sea views on 7th floor. Comfortable clean room. Loved the location and close proximity to sea, harbour and new and old town. Vibrant city life with plenty of relaxation spots next to the Atlantic Ocean. Eating and drinking places all around

excellent location and views over the main beach of the city

The location is superb, on the beach in the centre of the city. The room was quite spacious, spotlessly clean. All in all ,avery pleasant stay.

The exterior of the hotel, especially approaching the front door, is quite dowdy and not very promising, but once inside, its a very comfortable hotel.

The location could not be better. Right on the sea and walking distance to the center, bar and restaurants. The staff was incredibly helpful. The room had everything needed

The staff were more than helpful. The rooms were more than adequate and whilst our stay never needed room service they appeared daily and seemed extremely thorough. An excellent location across the road from the large sandy beach. I would recommend both the hotel and a Coruna to anyone.

There was a cafe attached to the hotel but we did feel the prices were a little high in comparison to the local cafes we went to for food etc. Other than that no complaints at all.

The sea,

I liked the cleanliness, the friendly and helpful staff, the quiet rooms and comfortable beds and the location. I also liked the breakfast and the helpfulness of the waiters at all times. Descending the staircase was most appreciated as its design was special. The lifts were fast. The taxi rank outside the hotel was most convenient. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone I know who intended to visit La Coruna.

Magnificnet views over the coastline. Close to facilities such as the football stadium - Barcelona were visiting / playing A Coruna while I was there.

There was underground parking which was a plus but it was difficult / tight / needed hotel staff present.

Position, Price except breakfast

Breakfast was poor choice for the money and also it appeared to us as UK citizens we were not welcomed as much as the Spanish. ie: not one of the breakfast staff spoke to us apart asking us Tea or Coffee.

The very convienient position in the centre of the city, close to all Amenities and visitor attractions. In addition very close to the Airport.

It seemed to be a traditional,well run hotel whose staff were professional and wanted to give good service.

I found the breakfast disappointing. Wanted better quality especially in the coffee,bread especially. I found much better quality for money in the cafe's of the town.The staff in the breakfast room were very pleasant.

LocaTION only

Reception staff unwelcoming and very offhand. Bathroom was awful, very small indeed - worst we've ever been to. Parking to unload and check-in resulted in being given a parking ticket and a fine of 100e. Cost of Riazor Hotel parking is massive, a total rip-off.

The rooms are too small for more than 2 days stay and need to be updated.

It's not very modern decorated building but if you booked a room overlooking on the embankment you could have a pleasure to see beauty night bay. All of services are good quality.

The beds were really comfortable The maid service was excellent The reception staff were helpful and pleasant and spoke good English There was a fridge in the rooms

The food was uncovered at breakfast and there was an enormous fly on the doughnuts. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the hotel.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. My sister is on a gluten-free diet which the hotel accommodated with no problem at all. It was a great start to our holiday.

we booked non smoking rooms , but we were put up in rooms smelling of cigarette smoke....when complaint, we were told that people ignore the non smoking signes and not responsability of hotel. No Air Condition, No Double Glazing ...Rooms were hot and one had to open windows at night....only problem noise level very high whole night, especially on Fridays and Saturdays as local youth party at beach until 8am ...don't go if you expect to get some sleep in.

The Hotel was clean

The Hotel was very old and in a built up area On the web it looked like it was alone at the end of the beach, but it is The middle of high rise buildings The Hotel is really only for Spainish people as the staff have very little English. A smile from the staff at reception would have been nice.

Shame teh breakfast area was set back from the sea views ...... Our room overlooked a drab courtyard - No parking
