- excellent location - clean - everything you need: clean bathroom, TV, minibar (with very good prices), aircon, wifi - cheap but excellent
at first you do think where on earth am I, it are rooms spread out in an appartment building
Fast wifi connection. Nice service, helpful and polite. Comfortable bathroom, room and equipment. Metro station not far away.
It's good hotel! Staf very frendly et good position!
Excellent location and breakfast. Room was very good with great selection of amenities (water boiler, good shower, TV, nice bed etc.). All in all great value for money.
TV was located a bit awkwardly. Wi-fi had sometimes trouble connecting. But these are very minor complaints.
Staff are very kind ,friendly. The location is very good, near metro and Plaza Espana.
Prime location in the middle of gran via
Hard to find The room given was really bad Air conditioning is an issue
Coffeemaker and coffee/tea, Free wifi in room, Good price
Far from Puerta del Sol, elevators are small and crowded during peak hours
This was a very nice surprise. Central, quiet, very clean and warm. As I checked in late everything was done at the ground floor by the lady at the complex reception. She was very very nice. Would love to stay there again.
TV position wasn't the best but that is a very minor problem.
Reception area. Breakfast not something to shout about.
Super location. In walking distance to major attractions.BK,Taco Bell,KFC next door, subway around the corner. Plaza de Espana 1min . Easy to get to/from airport(5 Euro),tour buses in 2 min walk.Perfect size room for 2 Nice and clean.Breakfast included (from 8-10 am).Big breakfast room with beautiful view of Gran Via (shopping street).5-10 min walk to Royal Palace,Market,Cathedral, park and etc.
Extremely noisy at night(rooms are facing main street).Even with closed windows. And we were staying in Dec-Jan.WiFi was working terrible. Stuff don't speak in English. In the hotel industry-they must. Breakfast is very poor.No variety.Just to fill your stomach with something. Walls are thin,so you may hear everything...
They have built-in sockets for US electrical equipment.
They should give better directions to finding the place. This is not serious, but some folks are easily confused.
The location is considered quite centralized.
The room is tiny. Twin beds placed side by side with no space in between. Small lift but better than no lift. Breakfast has to be paid separately but was not informed at the time of check in. Only knew it when we check out. At least the reception should inform us how much per person during the check in?! Requested twin beds but was given queen bed. Luckily there was other twin room for us to change. Otherwise we do not knw how to sleep on their super tiny queen size bed. Look like super single for me instead of Queen.
very good location, very pleased with the room service.
difficult to find it's reception, very poor breakfast buffet, some rooms are tiny, certainly not for two people,so be carefull.
Super location on gran via Very comfy room with balcony
Hotel is on great location, clean and comfortable, breakfast is good too. This hotel is great value for money.
Good breakfast buffet price. Room spacious with good location and price.
Didn't expect hotel is located on the 6th floor of an office building. Bad wifi transmission.
The room was clean and the cleaningstaff were nice.
The wifi didn't work in our room and the staff didn't seem to care to solve the problem. The room was extremely small and the view was against another wall which didn't let any light in at all. Poor breakfast.
This hotel is quirky in somuch as to its situation. It is on the main street with lots of shops, restaurants and theatres on the doorstep as well as being within 2 minutes of the metro, a square and round the corner from the grand palace. However, it is not a hotel in the true sense of what we expected. Never the less the rooms were excellent, comfy large single beds, safe, ample storage, hairdryer, fridge and tea/coffee tray, spotlessly clean everywhere, loads of hot water all the time. Breakfast was more than adequate but not varied which was not an issue for us. We'd stay again.
Didn't like is really true strong a statement however , I will write here about the situation of the 'hotel'. We initially walked past it but, when we checked the street number and walked back we realised the entrance was part of a shared building with the Rincon Medical Centre and is through an entrance into a shared lobby. The hotel is actually a series of floors with reception in a room on 6 and the 2 floors of rooms on 7 & 9, the breakfast room is not marked but there is a kiosk on floor 5 with the room through a door and round some corridors. An explanation of this with booking might have been useful.
Great location, good price
Breakfast can be richer
Location was perfect
Nothing to dislike
-Excellent location -Good price
-Smell of wet concrete -View from the window
Ideally located at the Plaza de España. Just a short walk to the center or to cozier Conde Doque, Malasaña and Chueca. Friendly and helpful staff. Situated in an office building so you will also catch a taste of everyday life in Madrid.
Not being given actual rooms requested Breakfast very poor for Spain Not aware was not a hotel
