the place is clean, the room were comfortable, the staff was friendly and professional,

there is no clear sign for the place you have to search for the entrance, the breakfast was typically the same for each day

The location. There was also a computer with internet for the guests.

The girl at the reception tried to accomodate me in a very bad room like a cupboard without external view despite of my reservation, where it was written the room has a balcony. After my request I have been removed in better room.

Great hotel! I stayed in three hotels in Madrid and this was the best! The room was very attractive and had a balcony that overlooked the palace and the surrounding neighborhood. I was on the 9th floor and would recommend it to others. I read others complain about the elevators. There are two lifts for nine floors, but I never had to wait long for one. Room comes with a refrigerator, but you have to remove all the minibar drinks to make room for your own things. Wifi worked fine in the room. The location is a little away from the nightlife areas, but a metro stop is right near the hotel and Sol is just two stops away.

Room was a little small, but not bad. Man at reception didn't speak much English, but good enough.

This is not a hotel: it has no bar etc. But the rooms are very well designed: everything works perfectly and many rooms have delightful terraces/balconies. Value for money is astounding. I could not recommend more highly.

Little language difficulties :)

The room was lovely but was on the 8th floor.The location was good however it's a building shared by a number of businesses. The reception is on the 6th floor.Its an old building the lift is enough for 4 people but with 1 big luggage it was awkward even for two people. I had to check out at 7am to leave for the airport there was no receptionist on the 6th floor.I had to check with the building receptionists on ground floor.

Everything new, the shower spacious with thermostat and pre-setting, the balcony, the quiet, the staff, the location, the tv, the cleanliness, the setout, the minibar and tea-making facilities.

Bed was new and therefore a bit hard.

Everything! The hotel is perfectly located, it's really close to Plaza de España metro station and it's on gran vía! On top of that, the facilities are quite good, the rooms are big enough and mine had a balcony, so I couldn't have asked for more. Last but not least, the staff are lovely, they go out of their way to help you, especially Javier the night receptionist, who was extra helpful to me. I didn't have time to have breakfast, so I can't comment but hey, at least they offer it.

The hotel was exactly as described and located next to the Plaza de espana. Perfect for sighting and using the metro. The room was simple, clean and comfortable and quiet with the windows closed. The staff was pleasant but did not speak much English or French. Google translate helped a lot!

Finding the hotel was difficult although I was aware of the entrance through the medical clinic door. My recommendation is print the photo of the entrance and bring it with you!

Central/very clean/inexpensive

The deluxe suite was really spacious with great views over the palace and the city. Terrace was a splendid extra. The staff spoke mostly only Spanish which might be a problem for some visitors.

The elevators were really small and very busy at day time.

Perfect location! Perfect for the budget!

A bit noisy during the night

Room was spacious, very clean bathroom the very clean and new next to metro Plaza Espanya and close to shops and everything lcd tv with plenty of channels free wireless small balcony with view free coffee in the room to make with a boiling water dispenser

Wifi was slow and out of reach at times tin walls, you could hear everything from the other rooms, hallway and very noisy from the street expensive for what it offers. It is not a hotel after all
