Good location for visiting Badajoz. Good car parking facilities

The hotel is well situated on a through road close to a road junction for all directions. A 10 minute walk takes you to one of the old bridges which give easy access to a typical old Spanish town, find the center square and sit with a drink to relax.The hotel is well appointed we were given a very large room with a balcony to the rear of the hotel over looking the pool. The bathroom was spacious with twin wash basins and spa bath. The breakfast room was well equipped with a good selection of continental fare ..Our second stay, and we will stay again.

Ther is no secure parking available.

It was not expensive. There is a good restaurant right bellow the hotel, open until late hours. Near city centre and some good restaurants. The fact that it has a free parking lot. The TV had RTP1 and Sic. Spacious room.

The bathroom floor wasn't very clean. We were given a room that looked to the main avenue, and since the hotel is near a hospital, we heard dayly the noisy passage of ambulances almost beneath our window, enhanced by the fact that it was broken and never closed... The reception staff when we arrived was a bit unpleasant. They should have warned in the site that the pool was closed and empty. Beds not very comfortable.

We arrived in a rain storm but all that cleared up as soon as we got to our room. Double bathroom, largest bed I've seen outside of the usa and a separate sitting room with hd tv. Real luxury. And we had booked a twin room at the outset!

Bom ambiente

O hotel encontra-se bem localizado, a curta distância do centro a pé ou de carro. Os quartos são muito amplos e a cama enorme, king size. Quarto limpo e arrumado.

Não é fácil encontrar o Hotel à primeira pois o cliente vai à procura do nome "Hotel Sercotel Río" e o Hotel apenas aparece refenciado como "Rio Hotel"... no meu caso suscitou duvidas pois pensei que se tratava de outro hotel

El Trato del personal ( recepción ) y las instalaciones.

Si, nos ha gustado.Hemos repetido dos veces seguidas porque tienen buenas ofertas de estancia. La gran suerte es que te tropieces con grandes maestros del toro, como nosotros, ésta última vez vimos a El Juli. El hotel es confortable y las habitaciones cómodas. El personal muy amable, sobretodo las camareras de piso.

Algo alejado del casco historico (20/25 minutos) Bus a 100 metros. Habitcion grande con caja seguridad A/A frigobar e internet gratis, con dos sillones. Baño amplio y completo con bañera y bidet. Parking gratis publico al lado hotel muy grande y comodo acceso. Nuevo. Te permiten dejar maletas hasta volver de forma cordial y segura (viaje a Oporto en bus por dos dias dejando equipaje y auto) Todo perfecto al regreso.Muy buena atencion de las recepcionistas.

La habitacion tiene escasa luz ya que solo hay apliques. Las habitaciones que dan sobre la avenida son algo ruidosas por el transito.

es imposible dormir, mucho ruido de la calle, de las otras habitaciones a altas horas de la madrugada,de las que limpian las habitaciones a muy tempranas horas, se oye todo de las otras habitaciones,los gorrillas en la misma puerta del hotel molestando todas las noches,no pude dormir agusto ni una noche de las 16 que me quedé.
