Score from 942 reviews Good
Couldn't even get a hot or cold drink, parking very difficult in the underground car park, 16 point turn to get round post.
Very nice English speaking lady on staff
There was only 1 of her! Also it was noisy, especially in the front, facing the river
Hotel staff is very kind and helpful.
Location is good.
Poor facilities and very noisy. Too expensive. Didn´t offer breakfast. Staff wasn´t very friendly.
Reception excellent, parking difficult but very appreciated! Very clean, thank you. Not my choice of hotel but appreciated hostess & cleaning ladies. Nice to be on river.
I was forced 2 chose this hotel by friends who insisted on staying by train station, then they did not show. So we made best of it. Kubrik cafe was a true find and Cafe Rufa EXCELLENT.
Great location! Lots of nice bars nearby and very close to the old town. Next to the river so nice area to walk around. Nice room, clean, spacious, friendly staff.
Reception is on the first floor and there is no lift. This hotel is not suitable for disabled travellers as access requires two flights of stairs.
Nice location by the river, beautiful walks to the museum and to the old town, nice bars just nearby
Laid back staff with a little English, good location for walking along the river. Also a selection of tourist information.
Hotel is on first floor, making it a struggle with heavy bags (no lift). A shame there was no breakfast or at least coffee facilities!
I t was wonderfully convenient for all the places we wanted to visit; and the car parking was invaluable!
Even though it was only a one star, it would have been lovely to be able to have a cup of tea!!
Location very good Room adequate
You can heart voices, sounds from other rooms pretty easily. Also from corridor.
The location was perfect; the old town was just across the river. Also the city center and metro was close. Because we had no breakfast we could go to nice cafes nearby.
I think the family owning the hotel also live in the hotel. When we arrived the man was lying on the couch and took hi s time to come serve us. There was no breakfast. Walls were paper thin. Every time someone flushed the toilet somewhere it felt like the roof would fall down.
Smart little bar just down the street, that also served food. Good crowd, locals and visitors mixing and sharing life.
Getting to hotel without satnav was a nightmare, due to numerous one way systems barring access.
Good location Clean Friendly Staff
When other hotelguests woke up and smoked their first sigaret through their window of the common patio, it smelled in my room too...
Good atmosphere, good rooms and beds, situated very well near to Casca Vieja,Guggenheim and the river - and very nice staff
There Can be some noice from the street, espicially in weekends
The location was excellent. The staff was very helpful and nice.
The walls are so thin that I could hear every word from the next room.
Very central location
Twin room with windows to the back was very dark as it faced the wall of the same building. For the same reason no air circulation even with a wide open window. The bathroom door did not close. Not to mention the fact that this shabby-looking room did not match the photos given. No lift.
Good location. Friendly staff.
The festival in August, wright at the door. Always loud music till 7am!!!
Location was great Room was clean
Pillows weren't very comfortable
Every thing you need, at a cheap price
Only fault. One flight of stairs with no lift, hard for wheelchair access.
location great, stuff very kind and helpful
Great location, very helpful staff (but only Spanish speaking).
The hotel is one floor in a larger building, and has thus no facilities for breakfast. Just around the corner are excellent breakfast bars, though. We had three rooms, two of which where to the back and very dark, hardly any daylight. The room to the front was pleasant. My daughter had a room in which there was still stale cigar smell. Upon our complaint she got another room. The staff is very friendly, but speaks only Spanish, which was difficult. The garage is extremely narrow, with a large car almost impossible to access.
The staff was very helpful, the location was great. Just left this place some days ago and still miss Bilbo and this hotel. Agur, lagunak, see you again!
Excellent location, very friendly staff (but only Spanish speaking), no breakfast facilities but very nice bars around the corner, overall very good value for money.
The hotel is on the first floor of a larger building. We had booked 3 rooms, one was with balcony to the river, 2 were to the backyard, with hardly any daylight. The (booked non-smoking room) of my daughter smelled from cigar, but we were offered another room. None of the reception staff spoke any language but Spanish, but were very friendly and helpful. If arriving by car - the hotel garage is an experience, it is the narrowest garage I have seen in my life and it needs an experienced driver to get in and out.
