Located in the beautiful, historic quarter of Úbeda, this modern hotel is equipped with state of the art facilities. El Postigo hotel is the ideal base for exploring this stunning old Andalusian town....
Score from 317 reviews Excellent
El Hotel Campos de Baeza has a summer rooftop pool with spectacular views of the Guadalquivir Valley and Baeza Cathedral. The town's historic center is a 10-minute walk away.
Score from 590 reviews Good
Originally a 16th century convent for The Nuns of the Carmelitas order, this hotel rests in the historic quarter of Baeza, a dreamlike place where time seems to stand still.
Score from 446 reviews Very good
The hotel is housed in a Renaissance-Gothic building from the 16th century, and is one of the town´s most important and emblematic buildings, that was originally the Count and Countess' (Salcedos´)...
Score from 242 reviews Very good
Good food. Easy to find.
Nice, big room with huge bed and several cushions. We liked the water kettle and instant coffee and tea in the room. Very good breakfast and free parking in front of the hotel.
Spacious room, comfy bed, large pool (it says here it's only open July-Aug, but it was ready to use, there's just no lifeguard during the low season).
Unlike the town center hotels, this one is easy to get to by car. But it's not a pretty location, motorways close by, and the 25min. walk to the center is quite boring. The noise from a wedding party was annoying, though not as bad at night as we had feared. As weddings seem to be a regular thing I would not recommend the hotel during weekends.
Secure and cheap parking. Pleasant 15 minstroll into Ubeda. The city is wonderful and the stay at the hotel was integral to the pleasure. Fridge and aircon very effective. Garden and pool wonderful facility and view. ask for room overlooking garden Handy for motorway and supermarkets/petrol if travelling through
others have criticised the hotel and fixtures as dated but we felt the hotel was characterful and welcoming.
Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room. Good selection at breakfast including champagne. Choice of pillows on the bed (superb.) Location about 15/20 minutes slow stroll from the old town but easy (flat) going. Shops and large supermarket close by.
Wi-Fi did not work in the room.
Nothing was good and as per advertised. Shameless!
Nothing historical, nothing authentic, dirty bathroom, extremely dirty carpets in room and plastic bed sheet like in hospice....gosh what a fabulous retreat ! NO THANK YOU. Don't u des tabs how you can give such good rating. Shame shame shame.
it was cheap
the swimming pool was dirty, the wi fi didn't work, the installations are old, the room wasnt properly clean everyday, and the worst part were the weddings.... a crowd of peple coming to the swimming pool at night drunk and not exactly silent.
First-rate facilites and friendly, helpful staff. We loved the swimming pool and the wonderful view from our room.
Room and breakfast
The refrigerator was quite big and well cooling, but noisy. Better to stop it for the night
Our room was great and the lovely view made it special.
Our evening meal in the restaurant was a bit disappointing, but the service we received from the waiter more than made up for it. He was so helpful and attentive.
Our room was spacious and overlooked the swimming pool area. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was most welcome. It was an easy 15 minute walk into the old town.
Spacious, comfortable rooms with very good beds and excellent wifi connection.
Not very close to the historic centre but free parking available just outside the city walls.
A tired 4* hotel. Indifferent staff.
Location, we were travelling - it provided easy access to motorway, and rooms were very clean.
Staff were inattentive. We were not offered assistance on arrival and our booking should have included breakfast. We were not advised of this or given breakfast room opening times.
Good views, pleasant room.
Charged for parking that Booking.com said was free. A long hike to town. Noise from a wedding that lasted until 3 am.
Nice big room, coffee-tea facility, pool (was closed), good choice for breakfast, mall nearby.
A bit far from center, only spanish channels on TV (but that's normal in Spain).
Large, very comfortable beds. We were travelling with a 5 year old child and although he was supposed to sleep with us on the same bed (large enough to have three people on it) without us asking we got another extra bed in the room. Amazing breakfast included in the price!
Spanish Classic Style, Super staff... even the Director had the time for a smile and joke. Good breakfast buffet.
I was unlucky with the weather when I visited Ubeda... it rained and was very windy. I was cold during the night and there was a problem with draught coing through the window.
Breakfast. Great value for E5!
Great staff on check in. Good room and well done
Night staff arrogant. WiFi awful, elevators did not always work, location to far to walk for restaurants and do noy pay fr parking, there is lots around. Also, if you do pay, good luck in getting out as I got locked in and could not find the way out
The Hotel was very good in general and located on a good walking distance from the town center. Rooms are spacious and clean
Unfortunately in Spain in the majority of cases, English speaking personnel in the hotels is rare, which applied also in this hotel
Desk staff were very helpful, rooms were well appointed and no complaints.
Very much let down by poor restaurant, food just not up to scratch, plates cold, mushy canned veg. Service was rushed, waiter just did not listen or did not want to. Needs some serious attention.
