Hotel Roca-Mar  

Fab location, very clean & reasonably priced. Benidorm is perfect for a couple of nights.

Quite difficult to get to.

The hotel was central, clean and close to the beach.

There was a lack of bar facilities and no English channels on the tv

No balcony or terrace and tea/coffee facility in room would have been nice

The Staff who are all family. The room. The price. The pastries at breakfast. The location. The quietness with no hen/stag-parties.

No English-language channel in the room (one would do). The breakfast is very typical Spanish and of very high quality but there isn't much for people like me who are used to the traditional English Breakfast - but it is a Spanish Hotel.

Lovely family run hotel, spotlessly clean.Nothing was too much trouble, they even provided us with umbrellas on the one time it rained. We will definitely return.

So long as you are not expecting the traditional English Breakfast, the breakfast provided is fine with lovely (I am told) pastries etc. The rooms are very good with minimalist decor but fresh and clean lines. The Staff are lovely and very helpful. It is very close to two beaches: Mal Pasa and Poniente and they are the best ones.

Not much not to like really. The TV has NO foreign language channels at all although you can watch/listen to 45 Channels in Spanish. Don't expect a sea-view from your room.

Lovely clean hotel, good location, nice helpful staff, good breakfast. Overall excellent value for money.

Would be good if the wifi was in the rooms and the gym was being painted when I was there - though I think it must be available to use now!

was described as having a mini bar but nothing was in it kettle in room but no cups or coffee provided was a superior room but no settee was in the room

The location for us was perfect, i.e. in the heart of the old town.The decor and comfort of the Hotel was superb. Extremely friendly and courteous staff, particularly the helpfullness of the reception staff.

only downside is parking bit exspensive at 17.50 per day!! and bit of a trek with cases etc,you can ask ahead to unload but you need to find hotel first,so a little awkward

It was absolutely Perfect, Only problem was TV but as soon as we worked it out that most channels could be converted to English. Not their fault just me being dim

Excellent, contemporary style hotel run by a very friendly, welcoming family. Spotlessly clean with beds & towels changed daily. Good choice for breakfast including delicious home-made bread, pastries etc. In the heart of the Old Town close to beaches, shops, restaurants, with 'Tapas Alley' 2 mins walk away. Will definitely be returning, fantastic value for money!

Some noise, more so at weekends, from people making their way past the hotel.

The Hotel Roca-Mar is conveniently located in the 'old town' of Benidorm and less than 2 minutes walk to the beach. Staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were very clean with complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was surprisingly included in the price making this an excellent value for money hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel, you will be pleasantly surprised.

The only downside is the finding a place to park, but this is the same for almost all the hotels in the 'old town'.

Difficult to find . you stated the room had a balcony and a seating area , it did not , we would have not have booked this hotel knowing there was no seating area , we were mis informed
