Nice mod hotel. Very close (walking distance) to all the main attractions. The staff was very helpful!

At this time of the year the air conditioner would not work.

The design of the hotel was modern and classy. The bed in our room was huge, at least a kingsize, which was nice. The breakfast which was included in the price was delicious, and all the staff were helpful. Also breakfast being served until 12 every day was a great advantage over other hotels, and meant we could fully relax without worrying we had to eat by 9.30-10, like most other places.

The room was a tiny bit small. There were roadworks all over the street outside but that is not the fault of the hotel, although it did impact upon the feel of the place. Very little to complain about though!

Decor in rooms was very nice

This "hotel" simply offers rooms, no room service, no bar, no restaurant, no staff except one person on reception. The hotel is advertised as having a four star rating and following some investigations it would seem it received this rating when it operated as a hotel with a bar and restaurant which the hotel subsequently closed. I do not believe it should or would be given this rating without any services provided. Our room was beside a lift and although I complained daily about the noise from the lift no attempt was made to rectify the situation. Also the soundproofing in the rooms was awful. One last thing that I found disconcerting was that at night after midnight a large chain & padlock was put on the front doors and when guests returned the one staff member on duty would open it to let us in. As a guest this chain and padlock only served to make me nervous about the security of the place. All in all I would rate this "hotel" as a far very nice hostel because of the lack of services/staff.

This is an excellent hotel, located just a few streets away from the main shopping/dining/sightseeing area, yet half the price of the hotels in the exact center. My room was absolutely beautiful, better than I expected - definitely a design hotel. Lobby is 60's mod and very nice

At the moment (April 2013), the streets around the hotel are being redone and are blocked off, so I wasted a lot of time trying to get to the hotel, driving round and round. I wish the hotel had notified me and given directions on how to deal with this. There was also some noise from the hallway and neighboring room - this could easily be solved with a better seal on the doors.

Would have liked to sit in a Bar as opposed to a Mini Bar in the Room, but otherwise ok. Air Con set a little warm for me but tolerable.

Location is great, stuff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the design of the rooms. Enough space, clean and comfy, big bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay. If the guys from Mate Lola are reading this: we loved the idea of Human Rights Declaration in the room! All in all brilliant hotel, definitely recommended.

I got no idea what one can dislike in this hotel.

The shower in room 304 suddenly went extremely hot and then back to normal automatically. This happened without any touching of the taps on each occasion the shower was on and it could happen a few times whilst showering. It was so hot my husband went out with a sore neck and back and i didn't want to shower the next morning. We were only staying one night and showered before leaving to go out for the night and although we were offered a room change we didnt want the hassle at 10.00 in the evening. This room would be extremely dangerous if staying with young children.

Everything: friendly, multilingual staff, comfortable hotel, well- located at a walking distance fron the central area of Malaga. Very clean. Excellent value for money (Ok, it was out-of-season). Freash fruit and viennoiseries for breakfast.

I would have liked a kettle/complimentary tea or coffee in the room and a bit more variety in the breakfast (I miss my eggs!).

Decoration, comfort of the room, location is fine too so we could walk to all the main touristic places, good breakfast (not the juices like made of powder add to water, better choose a fresh fruit).

The price of the parking, too expensive, 17 euros a day. You can park in the street, spaces are available quite easily and that's not that expensive(1,5 for 2 hours) but you have to come back every two hours....
