Stayed at 1st floor.Early morning woke up for excessive noise from laundry and couldn't sleep again, staff should be more careful..
We stayed here on our last night in Spain before flying out the next day. Location was excellent, close to train station with access to airport and to old town.Hotel was well appointed, reception very helpful and friendly, and buffet breakfast very good.
The location is good, it takes 15 min to walk to the town centre. The communal areas in the hotel are decorated nicely.
The interior decoration and furniture in the room is cheap and dated. The rooms have absolutely no noise insulation. We were first given a second floor room where we could hear a conversation from another room through the bathroom ventilation. We asked the reception to change the room, after which we were given a room on the first floor, where could clearly hear people in the reception area on the ground floor. We were also woken up several times during both nights by loud guests returning from a night out. There is no kettle to boil water for a coffee or tea. Considering all these faults, the hotel charges are extremely high and we felt we were ripped off.
Atmosphere, staff, breakfast all morning, close to city centre
Noise from garbage bins in front of hotel
Walls very thin. , noisy people in room next to us
Location in middle of old town, close to airport bus drop-off, in quiet street. Good choice for breakfast which was available all morning. Rooms comfortable and clean. Staff friendly but professional.
Cannot think of anything that I didn't like. Perhaps tea/coffee making facility in room or foyer but no big deal because drinks were so inexpensive in nearby cafés
We wanted something quiet but close to the port as we were boarding shortly for a cruise. Everything was wonderful, the bed, the breakfast, and the quiet location. In about 15 mins you can walk to the bus/train station, to the old town, or to the beach. There were several good restaurants nearby as well as many near the port and beach area. The area is in Soho but now is revamped and family friendly. The staff was very helpful with where to go swimming and dining. Would highly recommend staying here while in Malaga.
Mosquitos that prevented us from leaving the windows open. Even after we closed the windows there were several that got into our room from the main part of the hotel probably when the room was being cleaned. Saw several in the Chillout room while waiting for our friends. No bar but there are several nearby.
Room 108- There was too much noise. Children crying & screaming loudly early in the guarderia next door. The hotel's garage door opening & closing from early hours. The room next had karioke all evening, singing in the bath could be clearly heard.
Quiet location opposite Slovak Consulate. Easy walking distance of Centre and Malaga Centro Station.
Black-out blinds not adequate, needs extra curtains.
Clean, Excellent Location, easy to find and Close to the Train station. Staff also very helpful
No complaints at all.
For us this place was perfect as it was well located for both center and train station. We only stayed one night but we had excellent sleep and the staff was very professional
Great location. Spacious rooms. Staff really helpful. Overall great experience. Thank you.
There wasn't anything not to like.
View Signs to find the hotel
noise from bin lorry in middle of the night (not hotel's fault)
the staff can not do enough for you
Nice facilities. Oscar was very helpful at check in.
Somewhat shady neighborhood. However, it was a close walk to all of the action in the old area of Malaga.
The hotel is modern and the room was very spacious. Wish that we were able to stay longer. Bonus was on sight parking
Was a little hard to find due to gps routing
The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The location was good, within walking distance of most places we wanted to see or get to. Comfort and cleanliness was perfect.
Clear instructions for how to use the coffee machine in the breakfast room would have saved some embarrassment. No tea and coffee in the room! I need at least one coffee before facing the world!
Very slow internet
Josan, at the front reception desk who helped us with our onward plane reservations.
Reception person who checked us in at 2:30 pm the day we arrived. He said that our room was not available as it was still been cleaned. but he could upgrade us for ONLY 40 Euro more and we could get a room right away. When we told him this wasn't an option we got our original room
I chose this hotel because of the location between the city centre, the port and the train- and bus stations. The location is indeed fantastic. The staff is efficient (in the Spanish way, which to me is a little abrupt at first, but very friendly as soon as you ask for something more), helpful and professional. The interior is very modern with inspiration from the Moorish heritage in the patterns. I was afraid that I would find the interior cold and stiff, but this was not at all the case. The lighting, carpets and the round shaped walls and sofas give the warmth to this hotel. Our room was large, with a very large, superb, functional wardrobe with mirror doors. The bed is enormous and very comfortable. The bath room was large, with enough hangers to hang up your towels, with a bath tub and a little chest of drawers (perfect!) to stow all your things away. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Sound proof rooms. Good breakfast.
The free WiFi connection was always unstable and sometimes very hard to use. No bar.
The hotel was very comfortable. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The upstairs bar and terrace were great for relaxing after a long hot day sightseeing. We were very happy with this hotel overall.
