|Located just 2 minutes’ walk from a sandy beach on the Bay of Roses, on the Costa Brava Coasts, Apartamento Benedicta offers a 1-bedroom apartment with direct access to the beach.|
because we were self catering on two occasions we were given an inferior room which was always un the shade. We reported that only one ring of the cooker worked it was ignored despite the fact that we were staying for 12 nights. When we stayed half board we were given a better room and treatment.Staying in the Morasol this year,
The hotel is clean. The great views of the sea from the roof top swimming pool. The pool and spa area are a great feature of the stay.
The first night we didn't sleep well as there were loud bangs coming from the roof top. We could hear someone walking and then jumping. We were on the 3rd floor. It was a bit scarry. We did mention it to the staff...
it was clean
was not value for money
Central location and friendly staff and a good choice of buffet breakfast every morning
Very little! Although the hotel caters mainly for the French visitors!
The hotel has a fantastic position in the middle of the bay with a great sea view from our room. It is very handy for all of the local restaurants (particularly the ones in the back streets) and is easily accessible by car. The onsite parking is well worth 7€ a day as on street parking in Roses is very difficult and the hotel garage is under cover and secure. We didn't think the photographs on Booking.com did the rooftop pool justice, it gets the sun all day and the views over the bay are brilliant. We couldn't fault the staff who were always very helpful and friendly, and everyone we saw said goodbye to us on our last day. Would we stay here again...........definitely!
The pool bar closed on the 15th Sept, which we felt was too early. The hotel bar shuts at 10.00 pm, which we again felt was too early. It would have been nice to have a meal and then go back to the hotel bar for a nightcap
Marina hotel great place to stay. Will be booking again for next year.
Spacious rooms, a great breakfast and friendly staff. We stayed one night only but would certainly go back (and use the lovely-looking rooftop pool).
staff was accomodating, they didn't have record of our reservation, but made good on it anyway. Room was quiet, clean , reasonable
The traffic in Roses was impossible.
The hotel is straight forward to get to and if you find a parking spot go for it the are a few free areas close to the hotel. Otherwise it is €7 per night. The hotel does offer reasonably priced food and drink in comparison to other venues. Roses is a good little resort. A lot of French
Living in Spain I found Roses to be expensive for food and drink and all one can say is traveler beware! make sure you know the price is.
Loved the tiles on the wall and antiques, the general quality construction of this older building, The balcony view from the room of the Mediterranean, and being right on the beach! The sumptuous free breakfast was also a nice surprise. The beach had a lively collection of sand castles in the making.
I can't say there was anything I didn't like. Other than the fact that there were no shells or seaglass to find on the beach. This is not the fault of the hotel, though, and is probably because the beaches need to be regularly raked because of the unfortunate amount of trash left behind by people who should know better.
Great location; good large room; excellent breakfast. Free parking within 50 metres. Excellent value.
The staff is very kind and friendly. The hotel offers gym stage, swimming pool and SPA features. Located in front of the sea it is very good both for relax and sea activities.
Location was good , nice buffet breakfast , small pool but a treat after a dip in the sea. Nice café for a lunchtime snack.
Not much - could have done with some eggs at breakfast ?
- Terrace size and incredible view - Size of 3 room apartment - Breakfast - Sauna , Hamman and Pool - Beach acroos the road - Excellent location
- Water of the pool is too cold - Some equipment is broken and not repaired - Missing pans for a family of 6 - Cleaning not done thouroughly enough
Good Hotel and good location (in front of the beach and in the town center). It was not necessary to use the car. The room conditions were good (quiet air conditioned, good WiFi, good beds and bathroom). No problems with noise during night but it depends of the neighbors civility.
The pool is small and sometimes it was difficult to use it (for example, due to a group of young boys playing with a ball).
Friendly and helpful staff Good roof top pool and sun bathing area and gym. nice breakfast
This is our 3rd or 4th time at the Marina, staff always friendly & also speak good english so makes it easy for us . Location is fantastic just across the road from Beach & a short walk to many good resturants . nice roof top pool & Sunbeds, also bar for snakes if you wish or Tea & Coffee, plus plenty of Toiletries, rooms nice & clean we paid extra for Sea View & it's worth it as the side Sea view we had was beautiful, it's not a luxery hotel but good value for money & location. Buffett breakfast hot & cold .
the bar at Hotel closed very early so if you had been out for a meal you could not get a Beer or Tea/Coffee & like most Spanish Hotels they do not have te & coffee makeing facilities in room .
good location , excellent breakfast
Pool and central location
Entrance and bar lets the place down
Location next to the beach in the middle of Roses.
A bit noisy
Nice friendly staff. Pool and steam room a bonus in such a small hotel. Onsite parking was appreciated.
Wifi only available in reception.
Very friendly staff. Spacy rooms. Complementary breakfast. Very close to the beach (50m). Good beds. Fridge in the room. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby.
Horrible traffic and a roundabout between hotel and beach. Motorbike idiots at night (not the hotel's fault!!). Value for money OK, but not really good. Very bad coffee - really not at all typical of the Spanish coffee specialties you can easily find elsewhere in spain!
Very friendly staff
small size TV and very far hanging
We needed an overnight break and chose this hotel in Roses. The balcony view of the bay could not have been better and we would liked to have spent a few more days at the hotel. Until next time!
