4Th visit to this hotel and still loved it for position near old town, friendly staff and very good food.will always come to this hotel when we come to Benidorm. Mazarron,Murcia,Spain

Room not so good this time as was on 1st floor and a bit noisy.next time will ask for a room on top floor.

The hotel was really nice and clean and was next to old town which was good the staff very friendly and helpfull there was a mix up with our room we booked twin room and got double but they moved me to another room for two nights until a twin room became availible so every thing was good the food excellent as well really nice quiet hotel to stay in would go back again no problem carloson reception was really nice also nothing was to much for him

Food and location excellent enjoyed the gym facilities but sauna was confusing for one dutch lady who thought there was male and female only boxes and panicked when I was in the steam room suitable dressed and her in her altogether I was embarrassed for her

The stay because we only stayed 2 nioghts

Great postion 5 min dander to old town or beach .Staff are very helpful wifi is very good ,could still conect when on the 5th floor. Food was superb warm plenty of choice and a fairly good wine menu all around 10 euro.For a town hotel very nice public areas pool clean and tidy with plenty of beds and brollies.

It was a really enjoyable short stay and I really enjoyed the bath, we only have a shower at home so a big deep bath was lovely. It was also nice and warm in the bedroom, essential for a winter break.

The only bad point was that when we went into the bar area after meals for a drink we found it to be very cold.

Almost everything. Very good (or better) in viturally all respects. Staff service and attitude toward guests was particularly good. Cleanliness was outstanding.

Only one very petty gripe. The mattresses had protectors on (we think) which made them very slightly uncomfortable and a little noisy when you turned over! But...if you are aurally challenged or a good sleeper, you may not even notice this.

The dinner in the evening was awfull. The staff was not interested in the customers at all. We got the wrong bottle of wine which was already opened and put on our table when we where at the buffet (we ordered a reserva and got a crianza). We had one star hotels which where much better then this 4 star hotel. The hotel is also very gay unfriendly especially the night porter. We will never stay here again.

The variety of food was exceptional; perfect quality and well presented. Beds were very comfortable, rooms had fitted carpets, and a large flat screen tv with English programmes. The best hotel in Spain that we have stayed in, and will certainly return when visiting Benidorm again.

Great location. All a bit quiet but that was perfect.

We stayed there New Years Eve. We were treated to a fantastic Gala Dinner, with beer or wine included. We did not know we were getting that until we checked in. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is the first time we have been to this hotel, but we are all going to go back again.

we stayed at the royal for 2 days full board. There was an excellent choice for all meals. The staff were very friendly and cheerful. The reception staff were excellent and sorted my husband's I-Pad for him. Very close to the beach great location. Would definitely stay here again.

Good price for the double room, location good for shops and restaurants and old town, room comfortable could and had everything we wanted, the tea/coffee making facility was a good extra and not usually found in hotels in Spain. Breakfast room pleasant and choices for breakfast good.

We were on the first floor and wanted an early night, unfortunately the music and singing from downstairs was a bit noisy.

Have stayed in the Royal a couple of times now, a good location for the old town and beach, clean, friendly, good food and comfortable.

The hotel is in a good location with easy access to both the old town and the beachfront. We went to Benidorm Palace which is a short taxi ride away, so all in all this is a very convenient place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the room we had, although classed as 'economy,' was perfect - clean, spacious, comfortable and with all the amenities you need. The bar has a happy hour at 20:00 which is great value for money. The breakfast selection gave a good range of food of a high standard. Good car parking facilities if you are driving there. We only stayed one night but my impression is that this is a good hotel for couples and possibly those with children (good pool area) and is quiet enough for a relaxing break if this is what you are looking for. A good choice !

this was our third visit to the Hotel Royal in a year,as we love it.We live in Mazarron,Murcia and is under 2 hours by car to get there.Food is so good with plenty of choice,our room was excellent and all the staff friendly and helpful.We will be back again.

What can I say only good things about this hotel. I don't normally do reviews but I you are thinking of staying here you should. The service was exceptional, the hotel itself a lovely boutique style hotel, breakfast was fab and the pool was gorgeous. There was a mix of different groups staying here, mostly Spanish, older couples and gay couples. We stayed as a group of 4 girls on a girlie holiday.The pool area was lovely and there was no "messers" hanging around everyone was able to relax and soak up the sun. It is a stone's throw from the old town and a 5 euro taxi ride from the strip if you feel like a good nigh out. The beach is about a 4 minute walk. I will stay here again when I return to Benidorm
