The staff were excellent, nice and friendly, the reception and bar area was good, clean and a fun place to be, the room was clean but basic

The mattresses on the beds were a bit too thin and didn't feel too safe...a bit rickety. Wifi was only in the reception area, it would have been better if it was everywhere in the hotel.

Great central location, staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble. Value for money. I would defiantly stay here again.

The cleaner needed prompting by the hotel staff when give our room a good clean. One day she folded our wet towels instead of changing them or leaving them to dry. However once this was pointed out to hotel staff it was rectified immediately.

Staff let me check out of my room late (6pm) at no extra cost

Spotless rooms,cleaned every day. Very friendly and helpful staff who could not do enough for you. Excellent food at good prices. Roof terrace for sun bathing (and resident talking parrot). Good location right in centre of the old town.Rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and good shower and bath facilities. Not the Hilton but super for the price, in fact I dont think you will find better. Even has nightly entertainment!

Liked most things especially the staff but the bottle bank close by is a minor irritant with inconsiderable people dumping bottles at 2am etc. Didnt bother me much but bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

We have stayed many times before but this time we were disappointed. The staff are ok but lack the personal touch as years gone by. The food was only average whereas in years gone by the food was great and good value. One of our rooms had an electrical fault although quickly remedied and also no plug in our sink.There is not TV´s in some rooms. We had to request another room to get a tv. Its just the little touches that are no longer there compared to previous years. Whats gone wrong Queens!!!

Very friendly hotel staff that spoke English (most of them are british)! Excellent location if you are there to party. Nice roof terrace. Hotel staff helped me get a better room. Good location in the "old" part of town to, but don't confuse that with "historic" part of town, there is nothing like that.

Small room, no fridge, no tv and bad furniture in the first room. Second room did have a tv but with only 4 british channels, it also had a lot better furniture. I was not here to party so... The first night I slept at the hotel I didn't fall asleep until 3 o'clock because the balcony doors which are oriented towards the plaza blocks no noise what so ever! And I wanted to get up early, but that didn't happen. I got another room which let in much less noise from the street (no balcony) but the room had a funny smell coming from the toilet and was a bit smaller than the other room. The walls were so paper thin that I could easily hear the couple next door having sex, three times on one particular day! I even think they tried to be a bit quiet but I could still easily hear them. Curtains were thin and white and didn't block any light, so I hung a blanket in the window. Breakfast was pretty basic, but okay at the reduced price they offered in December. There is a show with a drag queen every night at 23, I didn't care for it and the show and people there of course made some noise for about an hour, it was better though when I was moved up to the 5th for with no balcony (from the third floor). It was impossible to find parking close to the hotel, I emailed with I think the owner and he suggested I could park for free because there was a Spanish holiday, but I still got a 90 euro parking fine! I did manage to get that reduced to a 3 euro parking ticket though since I found the lady who wrote the parking fine!

excellent value for money, old town centre location, entertainment most nights, nice breakfast.

city centre car parking can be difficult and adds to the price of your stay.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, weekend break, already knew the reputation wasn't very good after-the previous owner but knew a couple had recently taken it over and was great value for money, All the staff were so friendly,making us so welcome the whole weekend, The entertainment was brill and we will be booking again! Told all our friends what a great laugh we had and they will be booking also soon Kerry justin xxxxxx

The atmosphere was very friendly. There was entertainment every evening. It was in a good position in Old Benidorm which is away from the "Hen"/"Stag" element of the town. The hotel was very gay friendly and although my partner and I are straight we felt the atmosphere very relaxed and welcoming.

Main problem was lack of parking which is not the fault of the hotel. Also the toilets in the basement were in need of an overhaul.

The main thing you notice is the vast improvement on every level since the new guys have taken over...from the minute you walk through the door you are made to feel so welcome,,,the food is very good and excellent value...it has the terrace out the front so you can sit have a drink and watch everything that is going on....basically nothing was to much trouble for the staff,even when I needed some painkillers one of the owners drove a few miles to get them for me as all the local pharmacies were closed....thats what you call customer sevice...I Would just like to thank all the staff for a great stay!

Staff were very hard working and friendly, excellent meals. The hotel was acceptable as it was a budget holiday.

The location was good, the down side was it was lively.

Ubicación y precio. El personal también es correcto y agradable. El suelo era de parquet cosa rara en hoteles de este nivel.

Por su ubicación resulta muy ruidoso. Solución : doble ventana. Carece además de persianas. Solución: cortina opaca. Esto hace que el descanso resulte algo complicado. Habría q cambiar también los colchones. Tal y como se encuentra en estos momentos no lo puedo recomendar.

Que estaba en en centro

Todo lo demas: pequeńo, limpieza habitacion pesima, desayuno sino pides mas q un cafe no te dan mas.

Lo unico que me ha gustado o simplemente me ha parecido correcto ha sido que el aire acondicionado funcionaba.... y bueno que estaba muy cerca de la playa

el edifico, bastante descuidado , el ascensor se qudo parado varias veces , la habitacion era pequeña llena de manchas en las paredes y desconchones. Tuvimos incidencias con cosas q no funcionaba y no hicieron lo arreglaron el armario muy pequeño y casi no podiamos abrir la puerta sin tropezar con la cama

Very low prices for room including breakfast because of low season, nice room with little balcony and sea view and a good bathroom with a bathtub..... What else could you wish for? ..... Very nice staff, who really give you a homey feeling ....drag show every evening at 11pm.... I will come back for sure..... Really felt at home there and good value for money....

Matrasses need to be replaced but this will be taken care of very soon as I understood from the new owner, who recently took over this hotel....and to be honest, I slept very well looking at the sea and the stars... As said I will come back soon....
