We enjoyed the small hotel, its good breakfast, the lovely and helpful proprietess, the late night dinner she helped us find at the restaurant affiliated with the parador in town. It was nice to find a good hotel that we could visit in the evening after driving from Valencia before our trip the next day to Cordoba. If we had had more time we would have liked to explore Manzanares more, but we did stop in Ubeda.
It was a pleasure to stay here, A charming place, loved it.
We stayed in upstairs room on front of building. Twin beds had excellent mattresses and exquisite linens. Light breakfast with great croissants and jams, fresh orange juice in comfy dining room.
Being on the front of the building, traffic noise began fairly early.
What can I say - this was perfect. Lovely owners beautiful room - magical homemade touches from the bedspread and curtains to the jam at breakfast. Oh -the jam at breakfast, so very very good.
the room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful - comfortable bed and 5* bathroom. Friendly staff supplied an ample breakfast to get us on our long drive promptly. Helpful advice given to finding a restaurant in the town.
We arrived very tired after a 10 hour drive from France and unfortunately there was a real mix-up due to a double booking (our room had already gone!) but the owner was most apologetic and certainly 'went the extra mile' to sort it all out to our satifaction. The other couple kindly moved out to another excellent hotel which the owner arranged at very short notice. We were all happy in the end. Many thanks to Senora.

Very friendly, beautiful ambience, stylish rooms.
Anna was amazing. She spoke little English and we spoke little Spanish but with lots of hand signals and laughter, we communicated really well. Lovely terrace where we ate breakfast and a pool which would have been great if only the weather could have been a little warmer. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely stay there again when en-route to from Santander to the Costa Tropical.
It was a beautiful building. The staff were extremely helpful.
The staff were not actually on site all the time
