Hotel Rural Cal Torner    

This is a very special place to stay, a real gem. Antonia and George are wonderful warm hosts who speak many languages. Every room is different but with various themes of ironwork, very stylish, comfortable and unique. Everything is finished to the highest standard with top quality items. For guests they prepare excellent suppers and offer many local Montsant and Priorat wines. The house is the oldest in the village, fully restored from a ruin with many original features. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed every day, our hosts were very knowledgeable with lists of places to visit. Breakfast was excellent, fresh and home made. We will return, best to book direct.

We loved the friendliness of the Hostess Adrianna; she was so welcoming and so helpful with advice about what to do in the area. Also we loved the village of Els Guiamets; so quiet, and peaceful. And we loved the Hotel; gorgeous rooms, with wonderful beds, and soaker tubs, and a view to die for.

Hotel Rural Cal Torner is a gem in the middle of the Priorat Wine-growing region of Spain. It is in the centre of a lovely village surrounded by vines and olives yet only 45 mins to Tarragona. The scenery is spectacular and the hotel lilkewise. The hotel is 13th Century but very up-to-date inside. Everything was of the highest standard. The owners were friendly, helpful and able to speak most European languages. Rooms were extremely comfortable and breakfasts were a feast. Decoration throughout was tastefully done. Fantastic. Definitely be back.

Everything!!!! Antonia and Jordi were as pleasant and as helpful as possible. The hotel was lovely - first class. Beautiful rooms and fittings. Faces a small park and the church. Great kitchen! Breakfast - made me wish I was a big eater n the morning. Dinner was fabulous, great wine selection! Will return! Great location to tour the Priorat/Montsant wine regions!

My wife booked the hotel as a surprise as she had previously stayed here and loved it. I wasnt dissappointed. I needed to relax and unwind and this hotel and its location were perfect for that. I came away after a very enjoyable stay feeling rejuvinated. Definatly reccommended

Very nice and friendly couple running a small B&B in rural Priorat, great advice on activities in the area, very pretty rooms, excellent food. All in all we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

A/C in the room didn't work, although there was minimal need for it. Breakfast was the exact same each day.

I loved everything about the Hotel Rural Cal Torner. The friendlienes of the owners the Hotel itself and the whole experience. I would reccommened it to anyone and will certainly stay here again.

We have visited many hotels. But we have never experienced a better service and familiar atmosphere than at Rural Cal Tornerl. Antonia and Jorge were very helpful and keen to make our stay fantastic. The Hotel is quite new, it is very cosy and the design is tasteful. We got a delicate breakfast with local products. Antonia made a good dinner for us at a very fair price and Jorge did a good service with a sense of humour. The Hotel is in a little village, which is a good starting point for exploring the Priorat/Montsant wine area, We can really recommend this lovely hotel.

Sehr stilvoll renoviertes Stadthaus. Sehr gute Betten ,sehr sauber alles noch relativ neu. Sehr nette Inhaber. Persönliches Hotel.

Wunderbar abseits der Hauptrouten - traumhaft neu umgebautes Kleinhotel inmitten eines kleinen Dorfes. Unglaublich gutes Frühstück und auch ein sensationelles Abendessen mit tollen Weinen zu guten Preisen. Die Besitzer sind sehr bemüht und entgegenkommend.

La atención tan cercana y amigable de Antonia y Jordi hacen de la estancia un momento muy confortable. Las instalaciones son buenas y con un toque refinado que ayudan a estar muy bien en la casa rural. La comida que prepara Antonia es buenísima, super fresca y a buen precio. La ubicación es adecuada si se tiene la idea de visitar bodegas, hacer senderismo o simplemente conocer los poblados importantes del Priorato.

Para llegar hay que llevar coche y aparcar en las calles de Els Guiamets no es precisamente una tarea sencilla. Mucha paciencia al volante y nervios de acero al conducir en esas calles tan estrechas y saturadas de coches aparcados por doquier...

Sobre todo el trato de Jordi y Antonia desde el momento que entramos teniamos la sensacion de de haber estado anteriormente, fue como si nos conocieran de toda la vida. Son geniales.

Calidez y amabilidad de los propietarios, muy buen gusto en la renovacion de la antigua casa. Nos ha encantado nuestra estancia de fin de semana. Recomendable!

En general todo, limpieza, trato amable y cordial de los dueños. El restaurant, la decoración.

Las campanadas de la iglesia, no nos dejaron dormir en toda la noche, una lastima por culpa de eso no pudimos descansar.

Hotel encantador i molt ben ubicat, fàcil per accedir a qualsevol ruta de la zona. L'Antònia i el Jordi són els propietaris de l'hotel i et fan l'estada molt agradable i familiar. Són bons coneixedors de la zona i t'informen de què fer. Si voleu estar tranquils, no dubteu en anar a aquest hotel.

Liebevoll restauriertes altes Steinhaus, stilvoll eingerichtet und liebevoll privat geführt. Sehr freundliche Aufnahme. Vom Gefühl her eher ein Besuch bei Freunden, als ein Besuch in einem Hotel. Einrichtung sehr modern. Alle Räume sehr sauber. Fantastisches Frühstück (die Auswahl an sehr guten Wurst und Käsesorten ist sehr gut) und Abendessen vorwiegend aus Produkten der Umgebung und frisch zubereitet. Sehr gute regionale Weine erhältlich.

El trato amabilísimo de los propietarios, su familiaridad y sus consejos para visitar la comarca. El desayuno y la cena son excelentes. La tranquilidad del entorno, donde es posible el relax y la contemplación de la naturaleza en estado casi puro. Un lugar donde el tiempo es más lento y la serenidad impregna cada momento del día. En otoño el paisaje es soberbio y muy recomendable.

No, la ubicación alejada de algunos lugares más turistico, pero cerca de otros muchos sitios interesantes.

Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und ländlich passend gestaltet - sehr ästhetisch. Die familiäre Athmosphäre war wohltuend, unaufgeregt und herzlich. Es war sehr ruhig und das Dorf in eine wunderbare Landschaft eingebettet.
