This colonial style house is situated in the heart of Agaete valley, in the middle of an orange, mango and papaya tree plantation. This is a large mansion dating from the end of the 19th century and has been refurbished to accommodate a new style of tourism. The hotel has been lovingly decorated with wood combined with cheerful fabric and with a range of colors and a collection of antique pieces that fill the hallways and bedrooms. This is a place that oozes harmony and with charming grounds populated by hundred year old trees and a swimming pool surrounded by palm trees. Beautiful garden, kind staff (partly), original rooms The reception is only open from about 10.00 - 16.00, The shower is poor for a hotel from this kind, Wi-Fi is horrible, The price is about 50% to high; a price from about € 70,- per room is reasonable, not € 105,-

The building and the grounds of the Hotel are wonderful for a toddler, lots of different rooms and parts of the garden to discover. The place is immaculately kept and the staff are really friendly. The staff know the island well so they can direct you to the places of interest. The honesty fridge system makes you feel like a trusted part of their family which gives a lovely atmosphere to the place. The TV room with children's toys can keep your children busy in case it rains. From the hotel you can travel all around the island the South is an hour and a half away, Las Palmas 35 minutes. Dinner in the evening was a bit expensive for what it was although it is nice to eat together with the other guests in the dining room.

location, setting, atmosphere dinner too simple for money and bar is absent so when sitting at the pool, drinks have to be obtained in a tin from a mini fridge. self service. too simple and do not help to increase experience of sitting at the beautiful pool

Eine wirklich malerische Unterkunft abseits des Massentourismus. Das Haus liegt inmitten eines großen Gartens, außer Vogelgezwitscher und einigen tierischen Talbewohnern ist praktisch nichts zu hören. Das Haus ist sehr persönlich geführt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das optionale Abendessen im Haus ist mit 18 Euro nicht ganz billig, sollte aber wegen der besonderen Atmosphäre im "herrschaftlichen" Essensraum mindestens einmal genossen werden. Von der asphaltierten Landstraße führt ein längerer und gewundener Schotterweg zur Anlage. (Aber wer einen Autobahnanschluß vor der Tür will, sollte sowieso woanders buchen.) Mietauto ist bei dieser Unterkunft praktisch ein Muss.

Sehr schönes Haus mit viel Charme und Geschichte. Nettes Personal. Toller Garten. Wenn man Ruhe sucht, ist man hier richtig. Man ist ziemlich weit weg von allem, und sollte sich dessen bewusst sein. Wer nur am Strand liegen möchte oder aufregendes Nachtleben sucht, sollte besser woanders hin.

Rolig atmosfære, flotte omgivelser. Vennlig personal. God hjemmelaget mat. Frokost er enkel men det er nok å velge mellom. Gratis parkering og wifi. Veien til hotellet er i dårlig stand men hotellet er klar over det.

Hotellet indbød til hygge i afslappede rammer, det ligger midt i sin egen appelsinplantage. Gammelt spændende velholdt hus med mange kringelkroge. Gå ikke glip af "vor mors" dejlige aftensmad, der serveres i stor spisestue sammen med den andre gæster. Her kan du roligt tage til hvis du vil have fred og ro.

Schönes, sehr stilvoll eingerichtetes Gutshaus aus dem vorletzten Jahrhundert. Schöne große Zimmer, große Frühstücksveranda und herrlicher Blick in die Berge. Die Anfahrt ist ein wenig zu holprig, die Zimmer haben keine Heizung, die wir 2 Tage gut gebraucht hätten.
