Set in the Salamanca neighbourhood in central Madrid, Hotel NeoMagna features a restaurant and a 24-hour, free fitness centre. Free high-speed Wi-Fi access is available.
Score from 779 reviews Good
Hostal La Nava is in the Salamanca district, only a 10 minute walk from Las Ventas Bullring and El Retiro Park. Goya and Manuel Becerra Metro Stations are less than a quarter mile from the guesthouse....
Score from 432 reviews Very good
This Salamanca District hotel less than 220 yards from the 24-hour Airport Bus stop and a 10 minute walk from Retiro Park and O’Donnell Metro Station.

+bright, nice rooms +good location +clean apartments
-no microwave oven and cutlery
There was a funny smell in the building but not in the room.
All is well!
Wifi signal was ok (I stayed in the 2nd floor). The location was good (near the Manuel Becerra station and near several restaurants) Room service (they make the bed and remove trash from the garbage can) Silence
The bathrooms were very small, and were constantly flooded. The staff didn't cleaned the bathroom: I staiyed for four nights, and a dead cockroach was in the bathroom during this period.
Location, clean, very good price/quality, young people, citytrip
The toilet/bathroom was in the same room as the bedroom (no total seperation) -> less/very few privacy/ waking each other when going to bathroom/toilet, not realy comfortable
the Wifi was excellent. We are from Australia and we met our Cousin from Switzerland at this hostel for 3 days in Madrid, the staff put us on the same floor and conveyed our messages of arrival. The room has Air conditioning and there is a communal lounge in which you can have a drink, and a communal fridge to keep things cold. Very VERY secure.
The Print out from Booking.com did not tell us that we had to go to the 3rd floor to book in.......i waited out the front until the post man came and told me what to do. The parking is in another street and cost €20 per day but is extremely secure.
they have a frige and enough bathrooms. the hostel has a good location close to the centre. many supermarkets, cafes and other places.
no microwave, so you have to either fo somewhere for a breakfast, or to eat cold items. guys, you need a microwave, install it, its cheap!
Hostal very welcoming and good staff. Good value for money.
Pictures show only high end rooms, so its a bit confusing when you book one of the cheaper rooms. Although those rooms where also good!
Location very good, close to Manuel Bercerra metro station. Can walk to centre in 40 minutes. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Comfy rooms and beds, good air con. Wifi included. Good price for location.
The bathroom was only separated by a frosted glass screen, so toilet visits aren't very private or contained.
There was air conditioning and the WIFI worked. It was clean and modern
good location. close to metro. OK price.
beautifull clean single room at very affordable price at a very good location.
Not much to mention.
Very bad smell in the room
The attention of the Staff was nice, the room was cheap and it was a good room with private bathroom.
Maybe the faq that you have to take bus-train to get the hotel (no direct line)
Staff: not very helpful and they don't know how to treat clients. Facilities: worst room, bed and showers, ever. Heating was not working, curtains were not working, hot water was not working. Cleanliness: wardrobes very bad. Comfort: it's not even a proper hostel, it's just an old building where the 3rd floor is the hostel. Extremely bad the building and the hostel. Value for money: I believe most of these reviews were made by hostel staff. This is a horrible hostel, people very unfriendly and facilities and comfort are very bad. You can find more hostels cheaper and much better. Location: not the best. Wifi: very bad signal. Overall: worst decision ever. Please use google maps and do 'street view', don't trust only what they write in this website. It's an old house, with very small rooms, not clean, cold showers, very cold in winter, heating is not even working and unexperienced staff. They charge you more if you come after midnight (when reception closes). Please ask everything before booking.
When I arrive they tried to give me a room with two single beds (very hard) although I have asked for a queen bed! Not all the rooms have the same aspect as the one in the photo. Most of them are much worse. Do not be fooled!
The localization is very good and close to the metro. Besides the relation price benefist worth a lot
I didnt like the bathromm, is very small
We stayed in the family room so i can only speak for that one... It was great for the price... no noises at all, great heating (i went in winter), small but perfect bathrooms, and beds were just fine... the room was cleaned everyday and new towels... it was like a separate apartment, we didnt even have to enter the hostal itself, they just gave us the keys and thats it.
Everything! The staff was excellent, very helpful and nice with perfect English. The shared bathroom was with only one other room, which was vacant. There was a lift which was great because I had a heavy suitcase. The place was very safe which was important for a woman travelling alone. The free wifi was reliable and I had a TV and clean towels every day, plus daily maid service. I could not ask for more.
Two minor suggestions would be to provide a washcloth with towels and a wall clock w/alarm vs bedside one.
Very good location, metro station close-by, city-center just 10 mins by metro, quite some bars/restaurants nearby, shopping-district in walking distance, nicely decorated rooms, very friendly staff
Could be a little bit cleaner, but it is far away from being disgusting
We only stayed for a few hours (had about 10h between flights and needed a place to sleep for 1-2h after visiting Madrid). The hostel room is very basic but for the price you cannot really expect more. If you only need a room to crash it's a great place with a good location.
Nice part of Madrid easy to get to all the places I wanted to.
People there are very friendly and ready to help. There were 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms on our floor + lobby. It was very quiet and clean inside all the time. Refrigerator per floor was very convenient (it's a pity there were no electric teakettle and flatware, though, but nevertheless). Price is really cheap, hostel is excellent for its price. It's situated near metro station (3-4 minutes) and easy to find. Staff also gave us map of the city and showed places of interest there. Unexpected and nice! I'm more than satisfied with my staying there and would gladly choose this Hostal again.
The room was spacious and clean
It was extremely noisy. It was impossible to have a good sleep at night with all the guests from other rooms continously coming and going chatting very loud, opening and closing doors with a lot of noise.. A nightmare! I arrived to Madrid airport in the morning and needed a good rest for an important meeting the day after. As I couldn't sleep in the whole night I had to postpone my meeting, check out from the hostel, go to a friend's apt to have some decent rest and finally had my meeting in a better condition than if I would have had it right after my night at the hostel.
