Salles Hotel Aeroport de Girona    

We had a very early flight from Girona Airport thats why we stayed at the hotel. It is 1 km from the airport and very convenient. Good food, good facilities. Good Spa to relax after a good f1 weekend.

The room was spacious and looking modern. Also the bathroom was big.

The motorway noise, the tv has only Spanish channels and for using "free" spa you had to wear swimming caps (which costs 3€).

Everything was very nice, it was good, that the hotel had a free shuttle transfer from and to the Girona Airport, only about 3 minutes drive from the hotel. If your plane is leaving early in the morning (or arriving late at night), would recommend to stay at this hotel. The spa area was also nice and clean, although little small, it did keep us occupied for about 1,5 hours. Nice way to spend the time. Dinner possibilites were nice, we chose the buffet - not a huge choice, but very nice still. Room was clean and comfortable.

Décor in the bedrooms is appealing, & close to the bus stop into Girona as well has having the airport shuttle service.

No wifi in the room. Had to use it in the foyer so was unable to have the preplanned Skype call.

The buffet meal in the evening was good value

As soon as you walk through the doors of the Hotel the smell ,which I assume is from the spa is awful. I.t smells like drains and is throughout the Hotel.This would detract me from staying at this Hotel in the future..

Tidy hotel, excellent breakfast buffet, very nice staff. Rooms are big with complementary accessories. Location is great next to the airport and has an easy reach to Girona centre by bus or eg. to Barcelona.

- The hotel was clean and close to the airport. - They provided shuttle bus to and from the airport. - We liked that it had FM radio and we could listen music even in the shower. - In front of the Hotel is a bus station that can take you to Girona in 20 minutes (comes every hour). - We didn't use the Spa or the Restaurant so I can't tell much about them.

- We had only 4 tv chanels - Our room was located above the entrance and we could hear the sliding doors opening/closing.

Pool, spa if you have the time!

AC did not worked we had difficult to sleep The breakfast was quite poor!

Great airport hotel with really nice rooms. The interior such as the rooms, and the spa were a surprise, and from the outside it didn´t look as good as it really was :)

Hotel is really close to the airport, we reached it in 7 min on foot. Staff was pleasant and obliging. Buffet breakfast included ham, bacon and eggs, mushrooms, sausages, salads, fruits, jams, toasts, juices, coffee, etc -- estaba delicioso!

Nothing wrong: we stayed only for 1 night and everything was perfect :)

Aircondition did not work in April. Had to keep windows open as instructed by hotel staff as it was very hot. However noise from roads could be heard easily with window open

Second time round much better room,better bathroom and shower.Didn't eat there second time ,early morning flight.Spa facilities used second time around,amazing.

Staff friendly and helpfull ,bedding lovely and soft and cosy brill,plug your I phone in the bathroom or bed and listen to your own music .got up at 5am free bus to airport driven by receptionist,who had just gone out of his way to make me a coffee ,which was bought over to me with a lovely fresh croissant at no charge ,thanks nice touch ,jacuzzi and all the pools with lots of features ,was brilliant

The fact you had to buy a swim cap for three euros per person. Should have been stated before, not upon arrival. Even the receptionist had a smile on his face when he mentioned this with a look of "I know it's silly, but I have to tell you"

there was no sauna and no changing rooms or lockers.

Close to the airport, Airport shuttle, No reason to book this Hotel otherwise, they do have a swimmingpool outside which might be nice in the summer, we where there in December, so to cold to swim. The Spa is only allowed to be used with a swimming cap so we didn't go there, but it looked nice, no Sauna though.

The restaurant/food quality and presentation was very poor. Really tasteless and without any passion. The "Pizza" (not even worth calling it like that) was probably the worst I ever tasted, any deepfreeze Pizza is better. Unfortunately there is nothing really close by and if you don't have a car, you don't really an option. If you do, I would definitely recommend to have dinner (lunch) somewhere else. Besides that the hotel is ok for a night and as mentioned before, very close (3 mins) to the Girona Airport.

It is the perfect location for my requirements, golf course and airport, and regular public transport into Girona. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

for the price the room is a little small also the guy behind the reception (night watch) is very friendly, but he forgot to do our wakeup call at 5.30 in the morning....
