Medplaya Hotel Calypso  

We really enjoyed our stay at the Calypso Hotel, there was nothing at all not to like about it. The staff were helpful (although the dining room staff were not as pleasant and the rest of the hotel). The location was excellent. We upgraded to all inclusive and found that we benefited from this as the drinks were very expensive.

Food, Location

The hotel is huge, and it was overcrowded and noisy. The bed was not comfortable; the furniture was old. The A/C did not work so we had to go downstairs and request to fix it. It was fixed the same day. The internet was only in the business room and cost 1 euro for 10 minutes. No complementary water for lunch and dinner. Safe locker was expensive. But overall the hotel is comparable to other hotel of the same level in Salou: location dominates over customer service.

Food was good and hotel personnel was helpful and friendly. It was nice to get a bottle of cava waiting in a room as a gift from: booking.com

Too much people. Interior and furniture of the rooms was old and needs some refreshment.

Friendly welcoming staff especially in the dining room where there was always a great choice.

I thought the entertainment from 10pm - midnight was late and noisy, especially if your room overlooked the stage and you had a young family who needed to go to bed early. I appreciate many others loved the idea of entertainment late on. I'd also like a fridge in the room.

Lo único que nos ha gustado es que está cerca de Port Aventura.

Ya para entrar tuvimos que esperar 40 minutos en una cola interminable. Nos cobraron por adelantado, cosa que no he visto nunca y que no te da derecho a reclamar, ya que ya has pagado. Está todo muy muy sucio. Las alfombras de los pasillos llenas de chicles pegados, la bañera sucia y el suelo de la habitación mejor no pisarlo sin zapatos. El mobiliario de la habitación estaba roto y las paredes son de papel, se oía todo lo que ocurría en las habitaciones de al lado. El hotel no se merece las estrellas que tiene, yo lo catalogaría como pensión, ideal para los extranjeros que buscan juerga y escándalo. No lo recomiendo para nada. Es preferible gastarse un poco mas y pasar aunque sea una buena noche, porque esto es tirar el dinero.

Хорошее соотношение цена-качество. Бассейны. С едой все в порядке. Удобно подъехать, места для парковки на близлежащих улицах есть.

Персонал неопытен и неучтив. Вовремя не заселили. номер и коридоры обшарпаные. ковры грязные и старые. Ужин без напитков. Полотенца забирал сам. По задумке отель 3 звезды, но слишком шумен и суетлив для релакса. Некая Турция в Испании- но тогда и ехать лучше в Турцию.

Proximité des commerces et du parc PortAventura. Animation à l'hôtel sympathique le soir.

Beaucoup de bruits dans les couloirs, cloisons fines, gens bruyants. Un peu d'attente à l'accueil et personnel qui ne parle pas français.

Qualité des spectacles le soir. Piscines. Proximité des différentes plages à pied (10 - 15 mins) et du centre ville.

Beaucoup de bruit dans les couloirs, chambres mal isolées mais surtout touristiques mal élevés (cris et hurlements dans les couloirs à toutes heures).

el personal y todo en general

La cama horrible, rota por el centro, aun me dura el dolor de espalda, las sábanas estaban manchadas de gotas de sangre...

El hotel muy bien, el personal super amable, con un precio ajustadisimo y con desayuno incluido,desayuno de bufet muy amplio, la opinion general de este hotel es muy buena, seguro que vuelvo, la habitacion un poco basica y la tele no tenia canales de tdt, era de tubo de 28", pero bueno las camas muy confortables.Eso si no tienen secador en la habitacion ni otros servicios que dan en otros hoteles, no obstante en general muy recomendable.

La comida buena y variada, la atencion del personal de hotel muy buena.

Demasiado ruidoso,

La animación esta muy bien. El bufet es variado, buena cocina, calidad y los postres están muy buenos. Los niños se divierten mucho y se lo han pasado genial con las instalaciones de la piscina y la animación.

Falta reforzar la limpieza en general. Los suelos están faltos de pulido y abrillantado. Los rincones están faltos de limpieza. Tienen amplio recorrido en este campo. En la zona de piscina del calypso faltan aseos.
