Rude impolite manerless staff
The location was fantastic, in a quiet square but just 150M from The Ramblas. Extrtemely clean. Breakfast was great & set you up for the day. Great restaurant in the Square. The building was very traditional, but the facilities very modern. Great value for money.
Nothing to give a negative comment about.
Easy to find way back to hotel as very close to Las Ramblas and a Metro station. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Breakfast a little limited, but good for 'on the go'.
Location Cleanliness Convenience Good breakfast except juice
Pillows Breakfast juices !
The location, the friendliness of the reception staff, the availability of the tickets of city tour bus and FC Barcelona tour at the hotel reception, the wifi and the air-condition.
Facility maintenance specially the toilet bath tub which was blocked during my entire stay (3 days).
Great location, 100m from the Ramblas (in the middle), but quiet at the same time. Everything is close from this hotel!
Our bathroom was not exactly clean.
location clean and tidy reception very helpful good luggage storage area
breakfast poor TV remote did not work
The position, the rooms - spacious, nice and clean, the closeness to the center, the nice little square in front of the hotel
The only thing was the noise of young people under our balcony till the very morning, though perhaps it wasn't a usual thing, as we stayed for just one night and perhaps it was just a single case
Location was great. Nice rooms and clean.
The nightshift receptionist was a very unpleasant person. Very unhelpful lazy and rude. He even used racist comments. Our stay at this hotel was a huge disappointment especially since the hotel was really nice, in a great location and clean.
The lobby area, extremely clean & comfortable. Breakfast great, cleanliness of the entire hotel fantastic. The staff is incredibly helpful and gracious. Good location, need to be careful late at night. However, the value for the price is well worth the cost. Would definitely recommend to friends and we will be back, Thank you
The beds were extrememly hard.
We really loved the location. It was quiet and near the Ramblas. Off the leafy square are small supermarkets and bakers selling great snacks and cheap water. The hotel has some beautiful old features and great air con, good access to computers and helpful staff. Breakfast was good.
The staff and location of the hotel was very good
Staff was helpful. The hotel has a cocktail lounge that was very comfortable and hospitable.
1. Best location - in a small lovely quiet street close to the Ramblas, at walking distance to many visiting sites,. 2. Comfortable rooms. 3. Excellent personel service.
No fridge in the room.
The food was not clean all dishes have smell. Reception staff are not helpfull. Room was not confortable at 7am house keeping start cleaning near ur room.if we ask for shampoo why when they clean they didn't put they will start shouting on us .I only like the location . I eat the same breakfast for 2 weeks they didn't even add something new . Sorry but I didn't like it .
This was our first time in Barcelona and we were there for a short stay so this place was ideal. A very short stroll (1 min) from Las Ramblas and a street over from the amazing La Boqueria markets. Staff were helpful enough and the room was everything we needed for a short stay.
The location, it was near Las Ramblas and the metro. It was in a square that had a bar and the church. Hotel was fine and rooms were all clean.
The side road let it down as it very noisy and quite industrialised. We had a room on that side, would have been better to have a room facing the square.
Location was excellent. Room/bath ok - simple and clean.
Staff very polite.
Wifi didn't work in our room.
The room was beautiful, a mix of plaster and rock decor. The bathroom was also very clean and the shower was amazing had an option of two shower heads. My room overlooked a plaza that you had to walk through to get to the front desk. There was also a small patio that you could pull out a chair and watch the people down below. The hotel was also very energy efficient. When you walk down the hall to get to your room the lights are motion activated so the lights are only on for maybe 15 seconds at a time.
There were some dusty bits, some of the decor and finishing touches weren't all that well put together. The breakfast was very good, but the eggs were not really eggs. I'm not really sure why hotels choose not to use really whole eggs and instead choose some other substance that when cooked forms a warm gelatinous block of yellow. Although the location was great the plaza that you work through to get to the hotel smells like the homeless people that tend to hang out there.
Central location, breakfast included.
Very noisy- adjoining room noise++ ie from shower, toilet, floors above and in corridors. -street noise because on square with two restaurants, and a church.
Location, new rooms, fiendly staff, good breakfast Excellent choice! We will come back again.
The place was very good just in the center of the town.
Everything was good
location to main roads, also liked the room overlooking the square, loved having the coffee shop and restaurant at our door.
room was a little too small for two people although when others in our party arrived they had one group of two and had a room that was more suited for two people. Room 223 (ours) room 224 (theirs)
