Without hesitation, a wonderful hotel. Full of character, good food, comfortable, excellent staff...what more could you ask for. The rooms were a little on the small size...mind you, most rooms are small where I am concerned at 6'5"!

Location of the hotel is perfect, leave your car at the hotel and walk to the city Center of Segovia in 10 minutes. Monastery is beautiful. The breakfast in the morning is good (but the music played during breakfast is too intense) It's more personal but the atmosphere at the hotel didn't do it for us; very intense music playing all day, door handles of the bathrooms were hard to open, room had no "warm" feeling to it. Our kids thought it was kind of a creepy hotel. Looking at the photos online we had probably higher expectations of the hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Distance is not really a problem to the centre. It's a leisurely, pleasant walk following the line of the aqueduct. Breakfast was good, varied and plentiful. Signage to find the hotel from the street when driving could be better.

Breakfast was good. Parking facilities very good. Shabby room, needs updating. Restaurant prices very high, portions very small. Air conditioning did not work, explanation given was that the hotel had switched it off as it did not expect the warm weather in october! Overall not good value.

The hotel was well appointed though the stndard room was on the smallish side. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and interested in providing information and assistance. The restaurant was first class and we enjoyed an excellent dinner here. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

We loved the room, spacious, well designed and comfortable. With quiet air con! The city was a joy to visit, we could have stayed for much longer. We were not told how to use the key to turn on the electricity by the receptionist. At breakfast, the scrambled egg was a bit dry, by only 8.30am, so go early for breakfast!

The room was very clean and comfortable. Free wifi in the bedroom was a bonus. Because our ferry was delayed, we arrived at 11:30pm and found the restaurant, bar and room service were all closed so had to settle for drinks and snacks from the minibar which were expensive.

The Hotel was in an excellent location if you are driving to Segovia. It is easy to find and has plenty of free parking,which is often difficult ( and expensive) in Segovia! The Receptionist was very helpful and welcoming. The Breakfast was the best we had in Spain

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.In addition, the hotel was tourist friendly, very attractive with a lovely gourmet restaurant and fabulous breakfast.We were able to walk into Segovia, but usually took a taxi home or out to dinner because it is on the outskirts of the city. However, that could also be a plus since it was quiet and away from the crowds.

This was our second visit to the San Antonio el Real, which tells you that we were well satisfied the first time around. However, on our initial trip we never tried the hotel's own restaurant for an evening meal, choosing instead to stroll down to the town. What a mistake! While the dining experience in town was all you could wish for, the dishes served up in the lovely setting of what is a converted monastery take some beating. We shall return again for sure as Segovia is an excellent stopping-off point for those on a driving holiday heading up from the south of Spain and looking to break the journey before, say, catching the ferry home at either Santander or Bilbao. .

Beautiful hotel with rooms which had beauty and charm. It had an excellent location, very friendly staff, good breakfast and lovely areas to relax both inside and outside. We especially liked the old cloister seating area with a fountain and old fresco painting. There was a free internet access terminal which was most useful. It was everything we wanted from a hotel and excellent value as well. The only disappointment was that young children, with guests or diners or bar customers, were allowed to run wild around the courtyard and the public rooms. This was most upsetting and nobody appeared to care.

“this hotel was fabulous, i would definitely recommend the Don Felipe. I understand it is family run, and has only been opened one year. It has been thoughtfully decorated with love, care and luxury for the traveller. The terraced gardens were beautiful, and we did some sunbathing there, The staff were very tentative,and helpful. and the breakfast was tasty, plentiful with fresh products every morning.
