Good location. Had stayed at this hotel previously and obviously was happy to return. However disappointed as I requested a room in a specific area of the hotel. This request was declined. I was told that the hotel was full and it clearly wasn't on my first night. Very disappointed with room 109 as it was situated on the ground floor in a dark corridor. Request for upper floor room in main wing refused even though the hotel was quiet on the first night of my stay. Disappointed as I had stayed here previously. Will not stay here again.

Beautiful old building well restored and converted to a hotel. Very clean and elegant.with antiques and art. Ideal as a stop on the way from the south of Spain to the ferry ports..Pleasant friendly staff apart from restaurant waiters. Very nice food but expensive. I will however not stay there again. They caused me the worst night's sleep I've ever had. In the middle of the ceiling is a smoke alarm with two incredibly bright red lights which flash about every 7 seconds. They made getting to sleep almost impossible for me, woke me up and stopped me returning to sleep. I discovered that I cannot sleep with the duvet pulled over my head or lying on my back with my arm over my eyes. I also discovered that my eyelids are useless as defence against such viciously bright lights. Whoever thought such bright lights flashing so often in a bedroom is a good idea is a fool. And I suppose that last comment will mean my review will be killed.

Elegant hotel is a good discription. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very Spanish in feel and character and the cloisters are a tranquil joy. Excellent dinner with good selection of reasonably priced wine and a generous breakfast.

Location and car parking Rooms small and when we were there a wedding and another function were held at the hotel and it was very noisy, at midnight i had to go to reception, the phone line to reception had been disconnected, to complain about children playing on the stair wells and making excessive noise

The style of the hotel and the sympathetic modernisation of an old building. The bedroom was lovely although I suspect ours (101) was one of the cheaper rooms as it had no view but it was very comfortable, large and good bathroom. Free WiFI - well done providing an essential facility free. Breakfast was included and very good. Parking good and secure. We thought that charging 8 euros to use the in-room safe was unneccessary and should be a facility provided free - to have your passport and other items locked away in the room we would have thought is a comfort and maybe essential and free for guests.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is easy to find and easy to get to by taxi from the ave train station. We booked guided tours for the next day and the tourst bus company gave us a free lift from the station to the hotel! They have a left luggage room and are only too happy to let you leave your things there before/after check in/out. The buffet breakfast included in the room price is excellent and if you feel like a treat the lunch/dinner menu service has some really mouth watering stuff....not cheap but the same sort of prices as any other restaurant in Segovia.

The hotel is beautifull, the rooms are good and the service was great. When we arrived in segovia we couldnt find the hotel because it was behind a big wall, when entering the hotel the view was really nice to see that it was build in a old monastry. The courtyart is great to sit and have a drink and the view is amazing. The only thing i didnt expect was the distance to the center of segovia. Its was really nice the first time to walk down next to the aquaduct to the center but if you have to this more then 10 times then i qould recommend a taxi, if you dont like to walk up hill.

The hotel is in an excellent position - quiet but close to the centre which is reached by an 8 minute walk by the aqueduct which is extremely impressive. We thought it was excellent value with good breakfast and parking included. We would stay again if visiting Segovia.

Former monastery reconstructed as 4 stars hotel with excellent location, close to the famous aqueduct. Very pleasently furnished, the monastery spirit is preserved in harmony with the refurbishment.Heated rooms, very important in Segovia, which is on 1000 m over the sea and close to a mountain pick. Very big bathroom. Excellent breakfast with good choice. Restaurant and cafe inside, very convinient in the evning, high quality of service and tasty food.

An experience to stay in an old monastery and the breakfast buffet one of the best we have tried with high quality products. It's a 10 min walk from the start of the old city but you can walk along the aqueduct. You have to pay extra to use the safety box in the room.

Without hesitation, a wonderful hotel. Full of character, good food, comfortable, excellent staff...what more could you ask for. The rooms were a little on the small size...mind you, most rooms are small where I am concerned at 6'5"!
