San Francisco Hotel Monumento  

Location (100 m walking to Cathedral and medieval city centre), car parking free of charge, very comfortable rooms & the fact that the hotel itself is a fantastic monument.

Missing another room with comfortable sofas (other than the one in the 2nd floor which is fine but unfortunately in front of some room doors or the cafeteria/bar which is not really cosy) where one could relax, rest, read a book or newspapers, listen to some classical music background...

I would highly recommend this hotel for its facilities, service, location and price.

Modern, very comfortable rooms in an ancient/hostoric building. Parking facilities, yet very close to the old town.

It was perfect in every way, not a "but" to be found. Will definately repeat the hotel.

Despite not been included in the price of the accomodation, the breakfast was excelent. Very good location, near almost all turistic points of the city.

To use the swimming pool the guests have to go outside the main building (we gave up of going there because of the cold).

I loved it. It is a great building. A real archeological monument. It is an ancient monastry but has been modified as a hotel with great care and sence of design. It was a privilege to stay in such a place and imbibe the atmosphere. I loved the court yards which are airy and spacious. It is located in best part of san Diago , so close to the cathederal and the square. The restaurant serves fine food. The chef took trouble of cooking something vegetarian for me and that was delicious. The staff in restaurant Miguel and monica in front office were superb.i will like to stay there again in future

Fantastic location right in the centre of the old town with plenty of on site parking - easy to find too. We did not eat in the hotel as plenty of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance

The historical atmosphere of the building merged with the modern and comfortable facilities were much appreciated. The staff were very pleasant, efficient and professional. The indoor swimming pool was a real bonus to us during our stay.

Parking is outstanding for a European city -- easy to find, spacious, easy to access. The rooms are nice, if a bit colorless. The building itself is lovely. What you really can't beat is the location, which makes reaching all of the interesting sights in Santiago very easy.

Great place, located in the center of Santiago, just in a distance of 100 m from the cathredal. Friendly staff, large comfortable rooms, the breakfast is a bit expansive.

I was once the manager of a 5 star hotel in Hawaii and this hotel goes to the top of my list.From the front desk to the house keping staff everyhting was top notch.I Was very impressed with theri professionalism along with their kindness,consideration and courtesy.I Will always stay at the Hotel SanFrancisco whenever I am in Santiago.The service there was excellent and the restaurants were great with a staff and menu that was second to none.My stay there was one of the best times of my life and I mean that sincerely.It is the place to stay,especially if you are a pilgrim who has walked the Camino and need a home away from home while you rest up and enjoy area and all it has to offer.Thank you to the hotel for the wonderful way they treated me.I Will always remember my stay there with a grateful heart and a smile on my face.I Was booked to stay here for 2 nights but was actually lucky enough to stay 4 nights.
