Excellent location and wonderful decor in what I call ascetic chic. Nothing to interfere with your enjoyment of peace and quiet. While the overall situation was one of great value for money, their charging via Visa using a US conversion to increase their margin was not appreciated. |

an excelent (and much cheaper) alternative for the parador. Restaurant is very high quality. Beautifull old building including two old churges and a cloister. Impressive. Nice and friendly people. |

We liked staying in this hotel very much as it was very interesting with its historical background. The hotel has been converted very sympathetically to retain its past yet it is a modern hotel. It certainly is a different hotel experience. We would go again. This is a friendly hotel -staff are helpful - breakfasts are good and plentiful with a wide variety of foods on offer. However the staff at breakfast are run off their feet (usually one filling the buffet and one serving) they would do well to increase the staffing. The hotel needs a relaxing bar area - at present the bar is situated in the dining room with no comfy chairs. |

very helpful staff, (offering umbrella, directions, booking restaurants), nice hot tub for the guests to use, lovely breakfast spread, towels changed every day the decor was very dark, all browns and very austere. The price of the room did not include the breakfast and at the price one paid for the room one feels it should be included. |

Interesting conversion of the convent.Clean rooms.Great location.Delicious breakfasts set us up for the day! Some reception staff unhelpful.We had booked a superior double room ,but it was not available until the next day,then we were told to wait until around 4o'clock.It didn't seem as if the hotel was fully booked as we were told and the staff were not sympathetic to our request.They just said no,not sorry or upgrade.They didn't try to think of a way to make us happier.Possible need for training in how to make guests feel special and welcome. |
