A very well presented little hotel and a comfortable room with everything I needed.

Lovely unpretentious, rural, rustic place. Given that we were a group of 9 'old farts', lack of nightlife suited us fine. Village is behind the guesthouse with bars, church etc. Reading previous negative review about proprietor: we found that if we gave a smile & tried a little (O-level!) Spanish, we received smiles aplenty. Evening meals were, without exception, excellent.

    that we couldn't stay longer

We were the only guests booked in but breakfast and evening meal were served hot and freshly cooked delicious food. Lovely location in the high Alpujarras with great walking away from all the rain at home in Britain .

Quiet hotel in the quiet village of Pitres makes a perfect place for those who look for peace. The guy working there is like a ghost and shows up now and then. The room has all you need, but can be quite noisy (I heard people plugging in their phones in the next room). Good value for money.

Not for those luxury seekers or anyone looking for a good night out.
