My wife and I stayed in the San Antonio Hotel recently the Hotel is well situated at the quiet end of the strip into Puerto Del Carmen which for us was ideal, the hotel is close to the beach and has two swimming pools. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, the breakfast is buffet style and the choice is extensive. On my wife's birthday there was a bottle of Cava in the room when we came up from a day by the pool which was a very nice gesture. This was our first trip to Lanzerote, we will return and will stay in the San Antonio again. The only negatives are the air conditioning did not work, which is OK if there is a breeze, but unbearable if not. To use the fridge in the room there is a charge of €6.50 per day, this we found to be excessive.

Very closed to the beach. We went on the beach five times during three night stay. A variety of foods for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Pool water was too cold to swim in this seasom. Heated pool should be there so that small children enjoy the pool.

The food was quite good. The rooms were cleaned well and comfortable. Getting towels for teh pool priovded was very good. Some staff were excellant and helpfull A lot of add on charges e.g. 11 euro for a safety deposit box. 28 euro for tea Coffee faicilities, 12 euro for an empty fridge. I thought that 28 euro was quite expensive for tea coffee facilitites in a 4* hotel and I would have thought a safety deposit box should be standard. I knew someone that previously had got their 11euro returned. Some staff were also quite rude.I did think that the mosquitos were coming in through the air conditionaing at night so stopped using it.

Great hotel, sea room, 3 pools, quite, many families but all kids are occupied all day, only few were noisy, it's noted that it is kept quite at pool area and at night, very relaxing, plenty space at pool area, adults tend to goto upper pool, views great, evening buffet was great and great value, reception staff very helpful, close to quite side of island and quick taxi to old town for Clubs. Also public bus service is very good outside hotel door. Courtesy room for shower was great before return flight. Would go back on halfboard. No twenty somethings drunk at all in hotel just people relaxing. Not alot, drink expensive in hotel so went to bars down street for lunch as well. the extra costs for fridge and coffee in room is mean and a bit pathetic. But did without both

The hotel is very well located on the beach and a short 5min walk to town. Food is typical of its kind and good enough. Rooms are comfortable. Pools are lovely lots of sunbeds no need to woory about that. Activities a little poor but still available. In need of modernisation throughout to reflect its price a liitle over priced but we would stay there again.

Relaxed atmosphere and good shows at night . The cleaning staff did their job with out being noticed. Some hotels you would be falling over buckets and mops etc. I would like tea or coffee after my dinner even if it was in bar area.

the buffets are excellent and the evening entertainment is marvellous for people who do not want to leave the hotel at night the rooms smell stale and could do with a refurb but this did not take anything away from the trip as we did not spend much time in them. Paying 28 euros to hire a kettle was ridiculous and lets the hotel down they would be better off adding the cost to the room and providing it anyway

The hotel's location is more than excellent - right on the beach of Puerto del Carmen. Right across the main entrance there is a bus station, connecting you to some of the most famous destinations of Lanzarote (E.G. Playa Blanca or Arrecife). The room was big, extremely clean and stylish. The food at the restaurant is served in buffet style and is very tasty, a lot of choices being provided. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone.

Leisurely, laid back attitude. No hassle. Friendly staff and comfortabl surroundings. Liked the entertainment, in particular the the band that played from8 to 10 and again from 11 to 12. Some of the shows were far too lloud. While the composition was quite good the music was way tooo loud.

We liked the location of the hotel, it was close to beach and shops. We thought the bathroom very small. The hot food was a bit cold and overcharge for a fridge.

Remote for tv not working most of the time - desk advised it would be looked at - no one ever came.to look at it Asked for double bed - double mattress supplied on day one - removed on day two and eventually restored when reported at desk - desk very helpful Food was reasonable but unless you came in the first hour or so the soup and some of the items (chips) were cold - clearing up started at around eight and many areas closed - despite restaurant being open until 9.30 If you wanted a full menu and hot food you had to return to the hotel early. Pool area could do with a changing area - some hotels have telephone box type cubicles at the side for this purpose - many clients were elderly and changed at the dining tables with wet swimwear placed on the tables and some were washing their swim gear in the pool. This is not meant as a complaint but I feel many elderly would appreciate a more private area to change. Holiday was very enjoyable and hotel and staff very god.
