Hotel San Carlos  

Very convenient, as it is 3 minutes away from the train station. The hotel is being refurbished recently and although it does not have any luxuries, it fulfills its functions. We booked double and gave us twin, I requested a change and didnt have for all the days and gave us one the second day, smaller and darker... But they gave us breakfast for free.

However, it is not a cheap price for the average value.THat is, I would be happy for the hotel if I had paid a bit less, but considering that this wasnt the cheapest option I expected at least the kind of nice/friendly staff that 3* hotels have. And the cleaners... They draw a line of water with the mop in a floppy zig zag. Dont look under the bed, I warned you!

It is across the road from the bus stop that the bus from the airport stops at. The room was spacious and had a nice bathroom. The beds were comfortable.

There were no services- just one member of staff. No bar, no coffee shop. They advertised on booking.com that they had a buffet- it was a coffee machine and some stale croissants. The air conditioning in our room didn't work. The room faced onto the road which meant that if we opened the window it was very noisy.This is not really a hotel- it is more like just renting a room. I was disappointed that there was no bath in the bathroom- just a shower.

Exalant value for money.A fifteen minute walk got us to the centre of town with no problems.We were able to unload our car outside the hotel and there was a car park across the road.Easy access to the hotel from main roads outside of town.We will return next time we are in the area.

La habitación estaba muy limpia, con una cama y almohadas cómodas. El cuarto de baño también limpio y muy funcional, con una ducha de gran tamaño. La ubicación es excelente, tanto para acercarse al casco antiguo y las calles de tapas (a 10 mins caminando) como para ir de compras, pues éstas se pueden hacer en las calles adyacentes, llenas de tiendas. El personal del hotel ha sido en todo momento solícito y de gran ayuda. Pedí una habitación con cama de matrimonio y, a pesar de que quedaban sólo 2 habitaciones el día que reservé, tuvimos lo que habíamos pedido. La relación calidad-precio es inmejorable.

El desayuno bufé era algo escaso, los fiambres no eran de buena calidad (incluso no se cambiaban a diario) y el café era lamentable. Sin embargo, el zumo de naranja era natural exprimido.

Free wi fi in tutto l'hotel, incluse le camere. Gentilezza e disponobilita del personale.

Buffet colazione abbastanza striminzito. Non che la mattina ci sia da fare chissà che pasto ma per I 10 euro richiesti era ed era presentato abbastanza tirato via.

Tiene un diseño en las habitaciones muy moderno. Está muy próximo al centro urbano. Facilidad para aparcar.

La habitación es un poco pequeña.

Goede kamer in een modern hotel dat geschikt is voor vele doeleinden. Gelegen vlakbij het oude centrum maar ook bij het station. De receptionisten spraken allen Engels en dat bleek in de meeste hotels niet het geval.

Gehorig, als de buurman onder de douche stond leek hij wel in onze badkamer te staan. De ontbijtzaal, annex cafetaria, heeft een te zakelijke uitstraling. We hebben er niet ontbeten.
