The staff is really friendly and helped me a lot since I do not understand Spanish. I loved the location of the hotel, it helps to be located so central to everything. And there is a metro station not 200m away, conneting you to the whole city. It wasn't only convenient to stay at Sant Antoni but every bit a comfortable!!
The breakfast got a bit boring after day 3, a wider variety would have been nice.
Personnel was very client-oriented. Breakfast was pretty good as well. No problems with free WiFi, however the password could be easier.
Reach of sound - seems like the walls are really thin. Could easily hear what were our neighbors were talking about. So if you wanna make love here - be carefull :) And probably quite a small set of facilities - no ironing stuff, glasses, tea bags...
Was fairly prices & great location. Staff were all very friendly and willing to help.
Rooms were quite small and you had tip be early for breakfast otherwise you'd be waiting for 30mina
Staff were always pleasant, more than helpful & obliging , 24 office with locked front door clean &neat reasonably priced . I would go back again to use them
Nothing to mind
The location The staff - Miss Maricely from the reception area was very helpful and nice ! The breakfast
The room was very comfortable, the cafe was was very good and the breakfast selection was plentiful and varied, staff were very helpful
The rooms window opened into something like a shaft as did many other rooms and this made the dark. Consequently the light had to be on most of the time. This is not a major though as most of the day one is usually out and the light would be on at night anyway.
A close walk to sagrada da familia and metro station. The breakfast was of a good standard however it does get very busy and had to get there early. The rooms are cleaned daily, friendly receptionist, power shower and air con. I would recommend to couples and groups.
The rush at breakfast to get a table, first day we had to wait 10 mins for a table.
Location close to main sites and metro Breakfast was good
The room had a direct view to habitations, as if people where actually IN the room. Couldn't open the curtains without risking people sharing your intimacy...
bed is extremly uncomfortable! No chance to sleep well.
Clean. A soda/juice/candies machine. Computer with printer available 24h.
The couple bed was tiny and uncomfortable. The hotel is only near of the church, everything else is far.
Good hotel near Sagrada Familia, two metro stops away from the old town (from Monumental to Passeig de Gracia). Rich hot breakfast. Tea and coffee available around the clock. Cheerful and helpful staff. Grocery store Mercadona nearby.
Poor sound proofing, impossible to sleep without earplugs. Very thin beds with convex mattresses, so you sleep being afraid to fall. Hair in the bathroom remained even after I pointed it out to a maid.
The lady in the breakfast room was very approachable and friendly. Rooms were clean.
Air conditioning did not work in room. Safe would not lock and nobody available to help until the following day. No information in rooms regarding breakfast times, local restaurants or even the number to dial for reception. Local restaurant was recommended to us upon asking and it was like Fawlty towers, dirty tables, poor food and wine and unhelpful staff. A kettle in the room would be nice too. Male receptionist seemed too busy to help - keen to carry on with his phone conversations.
location, friendly staff
bed sheet was little bit dirty
Hotel was ok. Just ok!!
Small rooms, internal rooms all look directly into each other, had to have curtains closed at all times of day. No bar for late night cap drink.
Location, very friendly & helpful staff, breakfast,
The staff were very nice and helpful, it is in a good location, within walking distance to the main metro station and very close to the unfinished chapel (Sagrada Familia).
My only negative is that the hotel is not very sound proof and you can easily hear other guests in the other rooms around you but wasn't really an issue. I would definitely stay here again if I was to return to Barcelona.
The staff was helpful and patient and polite. The cafe served free nice coffee which was much appreciated. The hotel is very close to the metro station.
I had to move to the 6th floor in my last day upon my request to stay in a larger room since We were 3 people in the last day. The staff very nice and helpful. All the 6th floor rooms have a power box in the room that makes a humming noise. The first 5 days I was on the 3rd floor without any electic noise. Avoid the 6th floor.
The rooms were clean and modern was so nice. Close 2 metro station great location.
Bed was a little hard but that was it
Only 10 minute walk to Sagrada Familia & Hop on-off buses. Lots of shops & restaurants in mature neighbourhood.
Walls somewhat thin so occasional noise from other guests.
The hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly. The location is okay.
The room is very basic, and relatively expensive for what you get.
Pablo at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful explaining the internet facility and tuning the TV even after his shift. Beline at reception helped us with tips and directions about the transport with buses and Metro. We give our best praise to the courtesy of the staff including the cleaning personnel. The room was spotless every day. Damp towels and partly bedding was changed daily. We had the quietest and best room in the house with spacious balcony.
The pillows were hard, flat and uncomfortable and the tiny table with hard chair made no sense. The table did hardly even accommodate the laptop. There would have been enough space for a bigger coffee table and 2 chairs. We had a problem to eat or put down 2 glasses in the room on that tiny table. We were not told by reception staff, that there is a lovely coffee/tea machine to use free in the breakfast room. A water kettle with cups for coffee/tea making would have been much appreciated and is available in most 3 Star Hotels at that price range.
Very good location close from two metro stations and La Sagrada Familia church. Found a couple of very nice local Restaurants around. The price was quite fair and the facilities are new and clean.
Noise from other rooms and corridors. The matress was a little soft for having a nice rest. There were some malfuction in the toilet not critical but some noisy. Small details.
Good cleaning, friendly personnel.
Sometimes bad smell in the bathroom from ventilation (?), mattress could be softer.
Helpful, friendly personnel. Proximity to Sagrada Familia
The breakfast - NO fresh bread or croissants. Self-service coffee wasn't good. Boiled eggs would have been a useful addition to the buffet offering. The nearest metro line (Line 2) currently out of service which made it difficult to get around.
