“Great Location - but have a map of the entire city rather than driving instructions if arriving by car. Location is about 10 minutes walk to the major sites - at a very leisurely stroll and supermarket about 15 minutes away. Staff speak english and carparking is safe and close by - streets nice and safe and rooms very quiet and air conditioned.Very little street noise and free internet available”

The staff were generally helpful (see below).. The room was small but clean and made an ideal base for exploring Cordoba (only 2 mins from Mezquita). Ask for an inside room as cooler and quieter. Also has secure parking which is rare for a town centre hotel. Surly check in girl put us in the wrong room,(and for 2 nights when we had booked 3) and was quite put out that we wanted to change. As it turned out our actual room was cheaper and better

We had a clean, comfortable room within walking distance of everything. The staff was friendly and spoke English well. Our first room, 108, was on a quiet courtyard with its own postage-stamp terrace. We later moved to 106 which was much larger but on the street where noise was a bit of an issue. Both rooms had twin beds made up side-by-side. We didn't find an American-style double bed in Spain, so maybe Spaniards aren't snugglers.

Perfect location, yet quiet. Fresh and clean. Lovely atmosphere. Also the girls at the front desk spoke English and were really helpful with suggestions on what to visit. I would stay there again in a minute and would recommend it to friends.

The location was good... Close for seeing the sights of Cordoba, but quiet enough when you're ready for a respite. Breakfast not worth it... Maybe 5 euros.

It was a good stay, the hotel is well appointed, good breakfast (no freshly squashed oranges this time) warm rooms in winter, choice of rooms offered, quiet, cleaned daily if required, room good size, hot water all time, very helpful staff - we got excellent recommendation for dinner, good reception wifi most time. Not possible to use kitchen even to boil water for tea or coffee, there is a machine where drinks are availble for 80 cents.

The receptionist can speak fluent English and give us a lot of travel info. That's quite good. Room was a little small and the park area is not near from the hotel and the hotel was located in a one way street so we had to pull our luggage and walk to the car park area.

Very well located near the Mezquita and Alcazar. Nice area for shops and restaurants. Rooms were comfortable, pleasantly surprised for the price. Access by car and parking is difficult for all the hotels in this district.

Location is excellent. It is next to the cathedral and bals. Access by car to the hotel needs much care. There is no parking space around the area and there is a gate that prevent you from entering the part of town where the hotel is located in. Unless you are a repeater, check how to get to the hotel and how to park your car before you ever think of checking in.

Our stay at the Santa Anna was reasonable, but unfortunatly the rooms we were given we in a noisy part of the hotel, although the receptionist did say this was the quiet side, if this was quiet I wouldn't have like the noisy part. The location was excellent for the old part of the city, but finding it was a nightmare, the directions given to us via the booking.com were poor to say the least, I feel a sign on the garage parking to point in the derection of the hotel would have been a great help, as these garages were situated on the main road along the side of the river, which is a good landmark.

The hotel is situated very central, and the breakfast was great with fresh fruit. They have private parking 50 m from the hotel and it was easy to drive to the hotel and parking, no narrow streets. The room was okay and big enough for 2 persons, and there was a free safe. Also the wifi connection worked well in the room. There was airconditioning in the room but it didn't work properly, so it was too warm. This might be a problem during the hot summertime.

“Very helpful staff on reception; comfortable and very clean room; excellent facilities; best breakfast that we had during our three day trip to southern Spain. Do not believe the 1 star rating, this hotel deserves more based on our experience. The location is great if you are arriving by car, with free parking and easy access by foot or taxi into the city - 6 euros each way by cab, or 20 mins on foot.” Brian, Gnosall, Staffordshire |
