Location staff car parking cleanliness bathroom
Staff very helpfull and friendly walking distance to sightseeing places
loud noises from the street (when you have front room) by cars and people also in the night
Good value. Nothing special but if you have no plans on spending time in the hostel enjoy
The shower was not great. Windows did not open up,
The room was clean and comfortable with a clean bathroom, the staff was polite and helpful, the big plus is the location, small steps from every site seeing location in Cordoba, the price was a real bargain.
WiFi is a bit weak
- The location (just < 5 min walk to the Mezquita). - The owner helped us a lot with a last minute tickets for a highlight in another city. - Free parking on the other side of the river, or paid besides the hostal. - Fairly stable and fast enough WiFi connection and a computer at your disposal (in the hall) - Very good price/quality when you look at the price per night and the location.
- Make sure you've read a little about getting there with the car. Your navigation will certainly won't get you there ;)
It was a comfortable room, clean, air con, the guy at the front desk was lovely and helpful
The guy at reception on arrival was very helpful, but I did not see him again during my stay. The room was well maintained, with good ac and very clean. Excellent location for main sights.
The internet terminal for guests went down after the first day. Hard to find the hotel. Would also have been helpful to know to get off the number 3 bus from Cordoba bus/train station at the San Fernando stop. Reception closes for siesta hours.
We did like the location, the building with his beautifull patio, the nice size of the room.
There is a lot of noise of the streets and the windows have only 1layer of glass. Pillows are really thick, if you are not used to it, this can be a problem. Some extra hooks in the room and bathroom would be great.
It had great A/C, which is a must in the heat of the summer, and great wifi internet connection. It was centrally located to the city.
The beds were a little stiff, but it was decently comfortable. Also I couldn't figure out how to use the safe.
Great location and walking distance to sites and shopping. Lots of dining options just steps away. Nice owners. Clean and comfortable.
Wifi didn't work in our room.
Great location, good shower, good clean room
They charged my credit card twice and although they voided one charge it was for $12 less than they should have. I didn't realize until after I'd left.
Clean room, good location, quiet, and good shower pressure.
We stayed in a very spacious room. Inside the historical center and some steps feom the Mosque. We've traveled with our 1 year baby and we've had no trouble. Many restaurants around. There's parking. And the staff is very efficient and helpful.
Liked the hot water showers
Did not know needed passport to check in left that with family 3 hrs away.. Big hassle with check in would not take any other id
Helpful personel, nice rooms and close to city centre. On the roof is a little patio (rarely used by guests) where You can bring (and drink) a bottle of wine or two :)
No kitchen and fridge for Hostel guests was a disadvantage.
The room was spacious and clean with brand-new furniture and a design you wouldn't expect from a hotel of this category. The staff was very friendly (e.g. we were leaving for Granada very early in the morning, and they offered us coffee even before the breakfast was served). The hotel is located within 5 minutes walk from the Mosque Cathedral.
My family of three stayed a night in this hotel during semana santa the past April. We wanted a hotel located in old town and close to the Mezquita, Alcazar of Cordoba. Santa Ana Hostal was well served our purpose. The room is clean and comfortable. But the space is limited for three.
Shower tray leaked and flooded bathroom unless very very careful ie two minute shower!
Great location for sightseeing. Small basic room but sufficient as just a place to sleep.
perfectly located, friendly stuff, sun terrace on top, optional breakfast, parking possibility
Great Location Great Host Rafael - highly recommendet !
We liked everything in this hotel - the room was big enough, the internet was excellent speed and reliable, there was a parking spot available in a very reasonable price, too! The location is superb - very easy to find (with a gps and once you have directions from the hotel owner) and in the city center indeed! The hotel is as advertised and offers excellent value for money - let me tell you more about the parking though as it can b tricky. It is not a underground parking and there is plenty of space - so don;t worry about yoyur car size and being able to fit in a tight parking spot. However, the parking ia 50 m. down the street after the hotel and it is a one way street; all streets there are one way and if you miss it - you might as well need to drive around for another half hour to return to that spot. So, you need to stop in front of the hotel for like 1 minute, get inside, tell the receptionist who you are and they will come with you to open the parking and let you in. Don't worry about blocking the street for 1 minute - people are used to it. And if for some reason you must not block the street, continue driving and stop next to the garbage containers 20-30 meters after the hotel - there is enough space for the car to go on the sidewalk to wait AND for other cars to pass you by on the street. Getting to the hotel is by driving on a street which you might think is forbidden for driving - but it is allowed for guest hotels - i urge you to email the hotel before you head there - they will explain to you via email where to pass and what signs to watch out for.
A few minor things we didn't like - the mattress was old and a bit uncomfortable. There was a funny smell in the room - like a wet cloth which has been sitting there for a very long time... Other than that - it was excellent experience and if we ever return to Córdoba, we will definitely stay in this hotel again!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms right in the heart of the old town. Perfect location for visiting the Mezquita.
Good location close to everything, clean rooms of adequate size, good wi-fi, helpful staff
Great location. Friendly staff. Car park was really close to the hotel.
