Nice and big twin room with traditional decoration. I liked it
Very close to all the main attractions, good room service, good size room
Staff unfriendly, a smile makes all the difference! Made a fuss out of someone else staying with me when I had made it quite clear I was happy to pay the difference, room very basic although fairly big, blind would not stay open.
The location is perfect The staff the service
noise from outside
Location is superb - not far from Sol. Loads of bars and restaurants near - walking distance from many great sites such as the Thyssen Gallery and Prado. It's great value
It was very quiet when we visited and the rooms had a rather musty smell, but they are clean and I think secure although there was no room safe. The furniture is rather heavy traditional style dark wooden including a writing desk with 6 drawers ready for all your correspondence! The street has seen some recent closures which has made it a bit quiet at night
Great location. Quaint family run hotel.
Our room was very noisy as it faced the street. The air conditioning was disabled so we had to have the window open. The noise is non stop.
Vintage set up Good staff Spoke English Comfortable bed Strategic! Clean bathroom
Outside noise. it was quite loud during Friday night. Maybe just because of the location.
Location and price is perfect.
there was a bin in the room to collect water from leaking air conditioning.
Location. Vintage look. Nice staff.
Parking, very expensive. Couldn't get the car in front of the hotel for unload and load.
everything was ok, personal speak english and even russian
rules of hotel doesn't not allowed to eat, which is wierd, but i did
Good internet connection.
Spanish-only channels, Spanish-only personnel.
Location and that the room was large. Cheep.
There was water running constantly down in a bucket from the AC. Very disturbing.
She didnt cleanning my room
very well located and nice style.
Aircon is setup to 22*C, cold without a blanked and warm if turn it off. Staff argued when I asked for a blanked in the middle of summer, should have been provided without hesitation.
The attention was horrible by the main desk and it is too expensive for what it is.
the street noise on the first night, prior to us moving room, which the staff had no problem offering us
noisily in rooms. i heard neighbors around.
Very close to the city center (Sol), but very quiet at night in the hotel. Room is very clean and tidied up.
The hotel is a bit noisy because of the location but no problem for me thanks to the excellent location.
I felt very safe and the hotel was so close to everything ! Clean and comfortable without any frills. Good budget hotel on Madrid!
The morning staff member spoke no English at all which was difficult. She was not overly friendly either - but all in all it really didn't matter. I enjoyed my stay.
Location of the hotel is perfect, the room was clean and spacious.
Tiny lift. It was difficult to transport luggage in the small space.
Location is great.
Very old furniture and everything else. If they update this hotel, they will make much more money with such great location. Parking nearby cost us 31EUR per day.
Charmingly old fashioned with a heritage elevator, helpful staff
The central position of hotel Cleanliness Kindness of stuff
