Apsis Sant Angelo  

The location of the hotel was fantastic, less than 30 seconds walks away from Joan Miro park and then onto the stunning 'Museu Nacional D'art De Catalunya'. The metro is very easy to use in Barcelona and this hotel is very close to two metro stops, you can even walk all the way down to the docks without exhausting yourself too much.

Lack of tea or coffee making facilities in the room was a bit of a disappointment. There were also ants in the room, not enough to cause any discomfort and it really didn't affect us but if you're not a fan of ants, beware.

The room was clean and not too small. There was a free internet in the lobby (although with a slow connection). The staff was very responsive.

The very helpful staff and the location in a quiet street just a few minutes from Plaza Espana. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The first room we were given was very small and only had an interior window but we were able to change rooms without any problems and for the same price.

Likes It's a 7-10 minute walk away from three Metro stops: Espanya (which is slightly more near) Tarragona and Rocafort. Friendly staff, good facilities, clean and most of all safe. Breakfast is nice and has the basic options.

Internet was kinda slow and sometimes was not even working at all. We stayed there for six days and we had cooked eggs and sausages only for the first day. The other cold choices were pretty good but the "disappearance" of the hot items was kinda weird. Room Tip: If you ask for a double bed (not two beds separated) make sure you get a big room.

A small hotel on a quiet street, next to beautiful park. Pl. Espania is 5 minutes on foot. The bed linen was changed every day.

There were ants in the bathroom.

I really liked the location, is perfect for a city trip and also very close to the airport station. The staff was very kind and always helped us. Also, the breakfast was very good.

The room was very small and you can fell the "old building" smell. Near the hotel there is a school, and it's quite noisy if you want to sleep after lunch.

A lovely big room with a comfortable bed. Great bathroom with a bath. Plenty of electrical sockets for recharging and plenty of storage space. Reception staff friendly, efficient and very helpful. Lovely breakfast in very pleasant, light room. Good location for us as we arrived on the train at Barcelona Sants; also handy for the Metro and the city centre. Lots of nice places to eat nearby.

Would have preferred a proper double bed rather than two singles pushed together. To get any fresh air at night we had to open the balcony door, which was really noisy all night. A delivery van arrived at 1am one night, apparently bringing white goods to the hotel. Another night at 2.30am some workmen were throwing large metal objects loudly onto a van on the opposite side of the road. Hence, I didn't sleep very well for our whole stay. The coffee machine in the breakfast room was temperamental and would occasionally deliver either one or two drops of coffee, or a flood of hot water. However staff were very helpful.

Really nice location - near the park and 3-5 minutes to go to metro station.
