we couldn't have decent pillows until our last night in the hotel, after asking for them. First, second and third nights with only a too short one-pieced decorative pillow!

Modern room design in a very good location.

Loved the location and the restaurant. Breakfast was fabulous and all staff very friendly and helpful. I was travelling with my sisters, one of which has special needs and I liked that she was treated with respect

The bar area would have been more comfortable if there had been sofas/armchairs. The colour shower didnt work although the shower did work. Bathroom was a bit shabby

Pool Area not open as no outdoor area

We were given an upgrade to accomodate a cot required for baby

Fire alarm wen off in middle of night. No explanation or advice offered from any member of staff

Room was very small. Art deco on feature wall was peeling off. No mirror in room. No tea or coffe making facilities in room.

The staff were really friendly and helpful ,The location is amazing , easy to access everything in the city .........

The room size was fine but not big , There is no coffee or tea maker in the room .

The Staff were excellent, for the first time ever i have found hotel staff that speak english, i was so impressed, friendly helpful staff, good fast and free wifi internet, the best location. I booked a standard room, and i have to be honest it was pretty basic but with a nice plasma television and some english news channels, sky news, bbc news - BUT the view from the window was just of the fire escape and lots of stairs, there was a step ladder on the fire escape and all i could see from my window was stairs and more stairs. The room was so hot i could not sleep, so the next day i told reception it was not good and they were just so very nice and gave me a loads better room. I advise you to book a superior room - the standard room was not too good at all. However i was so happy with the superior room and it really made my holiday complete - such lovely staff and so helpful. Yes no tea making facilities which is bad for a 4 star hotel. not even in the superior room - and i am sure for 12 euro they could buy a kettle !! - definitely worth recommending - stay here it is lovely, great location by the gran via and the shops at the port del sol are just minutes away

The chamermaids are a bit noisy, i like to sleep late and they are busy outside making rooms and talking quite loud! - if you can afford a superior room take it - the budget rooms are not that good and it is definitely worth paying extra for a superior room and i got slippers and bath robes too.

Staff and breakfast and the fact that the hotel has smoking rooms, which means there is space for everyone! Good to see

Everything was very good.

- The location was excellent. - in front of the metro station exactly. - there is a very close supermarket.

- Rooms were a bit small

It's become my "regular" destination in Madrid: it's very convenient for transport, parking, location, services, staff, and - last but not least - price.

Internet connectivity this time was really bad. Probably a bandwidth problem, but from 7PM to 10PM it was slow to the point of being unusable. The connection with my corporate email, for example, kept dropping - although the connection with the local WiFi was always up and stable - and I couldn't read nor send email.

The location was very good it was close to big mall and the Main Street and a lot of restaurants

They have 2 group of rooms one is old and needs a lot of walking to reach the room And this is what they gave us. On the other hand they had given my friend a better room!!! There is no air condition, it was hot and I asked them to open the AC they said to me open the window !!! Rooms are too small. And when I left some food in the room they did not clean the room,they locked it so I have to go to the reception and them for a new key to tell me that it is not allowed to eat in the room!!! There were no Arabic or English Chanel's in the TV. ( only news Chanels ) All intertanment Chanels are in Spanich .

I traditionally have repeatedly stayed at this hotel. I was quite happy with the level of comfort and price. I want to note a convenient location and the opportunity to get a room for smokers.

The hotel is central in Madrid and central to all the things a traveller would possibly need: a metro stop is opposite the hotel, there is a supermarket and a gym within 100 yards of the hotel and it is located in the heart of the city. Very smart hotel but small rooms however for just €10 you can upgrade to a bigger room

There was no bath! However I think this is common in Madrid

The hotel is in the center of Madrid and a few minutes walk to Sole, it’s quite and clean. The staff are nice and willing to help. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable

I really hated the bed mattress as it gave me back and neck ache, the rooms are small in comparison to other Hotels of the same class in Madrid. Finally the breakfast is very expensive about 16 euros per person (thanks good a lot of restaurants and cafes are 1 minute walk from the hotel)

Excellent location, ease of access from airport just follow the signs, exit at santo Domingo station and the hotel is in front of you. Really easy even for novices at midnight. 40 mins door to door for €5 per person. Proper luxury hotel with flashy bathrooms.

I had one of the rooms with the panoramic view of the city and it was really nice to just chill in the room (besides all the city exploring). Location is perfect as it's close to a lot main attractions.
