We had a double, which is two single beds moved next to each other, but the matresses kept sliding, and in the gap there was no support, so you could actually fall through if you're skinny like me. Not ideal for cuddling up while sleeping. - We heard from other travellers that their rooms weren't as nice as ours, and the theory was that it was based on the duration of the stay. We stayed for 6 nights and got a nice room with a great view! :)
The place itself is absolutely amazingly beautiful, and quiet at night. The boutanic garden is worth seeing. The hike to the cross on the adjecent mountain is short and painless, but the view amazing.
We stayed almost a week and used it as a "base camp" from which we drove to all the beaches in the north and did some hikes always knowing where we'd return to in the evening. At the end we were saying things like "going home" - almost felt like that a little. :)
Our room had a little fridge and we bought milk, so we made our own breakfasts and sandwhiches for lunch. - Nice thing to have with that weather.
We mostly brought our water from other places but there's a little store up here as well where you can buy baked goods and water and such. - There's a cafe... a shop for maps and sun hats, etc. a pharmacy... has everything you need, if you're more of a pool type than beach. The pool is nice too.
Photo is view from our room (and all the snails that came from one order of snails... I ate them all! :D )
