Hotel Savoy  

Hotel Savoy was a great surprise - We didn't expect such a nice location - Rooms were small but adequate - Breakfast was quite large to be included - which was a plus - Coffee and juice were very "instant" which was a let down - but overall it was a great place to stay and a great value for the money - we only paid 30 euro/couple with breakfast included. The staff was very helpful - lots of parking nearby - and only an hour from Barcelona. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean and the facilities were good

The family rooms were very small with four single beds all pushed together to fit in and little room to move from one end of the room to the other. The hotel was busy but geared up to the over 60s as was the entertainment. Would not recommend for families or younger people.

The hotel itself is quite ok for the price it offers and free parking nearby. One thing that makes me never come back and not recommend it to anybody is that after having had dinner I returned to my room and found the door open!!!wide open! The next morning I heard from the staff - oh yes, the door must be broken..don't worry, we will check it later..I Don't know what i'd do if something was stolen..It was a nightmare. Literally.

I liked the freedom the Hotel offers to come and go at any time and the friendliness of most of the staff.

I did not like on arrival being given my card to get in the room - the card was not programmed accuirately and I was up and down in the lift from the seventh floor (I had asked for this floor but did not know of the problem) - it was past midnight on arrival and up and down with cases and bags without a word of apology did not go down too good with me. Eventually a security guard was called and he got me in the room but the male receptionist that night did not care at all - no word of sorry from him... The securiity man told me to get the card changed in the morning which when I did the receptionist on duity the next day was most apologetic and sorted the same card immediatley. If the A.M. receptionist could do this immediately why then could the night receptionist not have done this properly first time. The word sorry was not spoken by him...

Poor quality of the breakfast

Near to the beach. food was good at dinner.

No entertainment during the 12 days I was there in July & August was told entertainment every night. Staff in the dinning room not very happy. Bar prices to high & beer not very good. One of the two lifts brokedown and no water for one day. Wi-Fi only in bar area, was again told that wi-fi in everyroom. Breakfast was the same everyday. No drinks with dinner unless you are fully inclusive. No tea making in room.

The location of the hotel is excellent for the beach and a local bus runs into Llorett de Mar quite frequently which was excellent for me..

Manque d'eau chaude pour la toilette

La chambre avait une forte odeur de tabac, très désagréable. Il y avait des tâches énormes d'humidité sur les murs et du plâtre tombait des murs sur le sol. Le repas du soir et le petit déjeuner étaient d'une très mauvaise qualité. Ces deux éléments ne correspondaient pas du tout à un hôtel 3 étoiles. Pour le prix, je préfère de loin un petit hôtel chaleureux même s'il n'a pas d'étoiles.

Très bonne situation geographique la plage est a 200 mètres, personnel discret et serviable, chambre propre.

Hotel confortable et propre. Avis général : bon, à quelques détails près : - Ambiance plutôt 3ème-4ème âge, avec les dancings le soir uniquement pour eux. - Nourriture à améliorer, car les plats sont très européens, je m'attendais à plus de plats de spécialités espagnoles. - Le wifi n'est disponible que dans le hall, ce serait mieux qu'il soit aussi dans les chambres. - Penser à avoir des chaines TV internationales, car il n'y a que des chaines espagnoles et catalanes dans les chambres.
