We arrived after a long journey - drive + flight + drive from Madrid (in torrential rain) so we were pretty tired. The hotel is a little way out of the centre and is on the edge of an industrial zone (sounds worse than it is) so, as the weather was cool and rainy we decided to stay where we were. We were only there for one night on the way south and to see the Roman remains. The hotel is obviously used mainly by truckers and one nighters - not a bad choice as we have found in the past - truckers usually know the best places! We were not disappointed - we went to the bar and had a drink (with tapas) and then asked if we could have something to eat. The next thing we knew two enormous plates of ham, eggs and fries appeared - delicious - and just what was required! The staff were friendly and approachable. The room (with balcony) was spacious, clean and had all you needed. We would definately recommend this hotel for a 1/2 night stay. Don't expect nice views, fancy table service just honest, straightforward hospitality.

ideal location for overnight stay whilst travelling.

Catering a bit limited, but food was excellent.

Good air con. Clean good size room.

Stated river view. No view. We had not been warned that their cafe was closed on Sundays so no facilities for coffee or cold drinks. On industrial estate so even shop at petrol station was a drive. Staff helpful though.
