Score from 2018 reviews Very good
Situated on the edge of the historic Judería district, NH Córdoba Califa offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, a pillow menu and satellite TV. Cordoba AVE Train Station is just 800 metres...

Hostal Maestre is centrally located next to Córdoba’s Fine Art Museum and a 5-minute walk from the Mezquita. It has free Wi-Fi, and most rooms are set around typical Andalusian garden patios.

Score from 568 reviews Good
10 mins walking to the mezquita and the train/bus station (stations are across each other). Helpful staff who even give you a page explaining the opening hours of attractions (they're free between 8:30-9:30!). Clean rooms.
Perfect position Excellent stuff Good breakfast
Bed a lilt bit small
Nice hotel in a central location including paid parking.
Nothing I recall
Everithing. Good location, nice room, and excellent staff. Good value for money.
The breakfast is ordinary, many products are pre-packed expecially cakes.
Clean, comfortable room Good location -- walkable to train and bus stations, walkable to key city sites, quiet street with no car traffic
Air conditioning system was turned off; the front desk turned it on for us but it automatically turned off the next morning. The room got a bit stuffy
Location between old and new parts, quite road, good wifi
Breakfast OK, quite a lot of long life packets/tins of food, although there was a cooked breakfast.
Position, staff were very helpful, room was good spacious and clean, good shower. Breakfast was good and plentiful. There was a fridge in the room so you could put your own things in there or order a package of goods from reception
The coffee was horrible
Very good location, near shops and the mezquita on walking distance.
private parking quite expensive (17.60 euro per night), rooms not soundproof and especially in the morning you can hear quite some noise of people walking in the hallway.
A beautifully quiet room convenient to both the railway station and the sights.
Location Window blind Good hairdryer
Staff at the desk is always busy and thus not very attentive and helpful No WiFi in the room We refused the hotel breakfast as it was very poor in choice and went to nearest Cafe which turned out to be nice choice with traditional food
Clean, quiet, well located but note it is not in the old town but close to train station, helpful staff, great value
Nothing not to like
Large room, quiet and comfortable.. Very close to centre and old Cordoba.
Was in ideal position for our needs as clear of the central tourist but close enough to walk ,also only a short walk to the rail station as we visited Seville, also really close to all the shops.
As we travelled by car parking was a problem.
Close to everything. Around a km to Mesquita and Roman bridge.
Have to figure out where the hotel is in a side street. Bed was average. 11€ for breakfast only option.
Location and good AC
Old fashioned rooms and service
close to facilities of old town. convenience of on site garaging at 15 euro/day so not overpriced. Lovely bathroom with powerful shower. plenty of wardrobe space and storage.
very expensive charge of 16.5 euro/day for our dog. Our room, as did many others, had internal window overlooking central void so no view.
everything, specially location close to the station even with luggage. very helpful staff.
Location, Room, Breakfast, Helpful Reception
Clean and close to tourist area.
Narrow walkway ,small lift.
Pros: Large business-class like hotel: very good except for potential noise from neighboring guests (see "cons" for details); Good location (walkable from train station and to main parts of town: Mezquita area and Plaza de las Tendillas); Clean, modern furnishing and fixtures; Shower pressure was good but shower space was tiny (common in Spain); I had a very good & comfortable stay; Breakfast had great variety: very basic but lots of variety - fantastic for a free breakfast; Staff at front desk spoke sufficient English; because the hotel is pretty big, there were several staff members around
Cons: very good except for potential noise from neighboring guests; The door and adjacent room walls seemed paper thin so the noise from the hallway sounded as if the door was open!; This can be a big potential issue if you have noisy neighbors but I had a very good 1-night stay: the noise for me was ok because the neighbors only made loud noise when entering their room and talking in the hallway; though it did wake me up when they entered their room late at night and left their room before I did in the morning. Minor note: Map provided by hotel was poor (did not detail most small streets); had to get a better detailed map from Tourist Info center
I booked for one person room and got room for two persons so my visit started from a pleasant surprise.service, staff and ambiance all was great. Breakfast was good
Quality of breakfast was very bad. Price-Quality is very low, as the room was very small with a mini television.
Location good and staff extremely helpful.
We could not get a double room. We were shown two rooms which smelt of cigarette smoke but after complaining, staff incredibly accommodating and found us a room which was ideal.
It was clean and the staff was very helpful.
They have smoking; if the guests smoke outside their room, you will smell it in the non-smoking rooms.
Location was good. Staff were friendly and hotel was clean. Worth the money. Quiet location too so a good night sleep every night.
A little out from the centre so if you mind the trek, then not one to book. We didn't mind so we were ok. Quiet area too. Depends how you look at that. It was good for resting up, but not so good if we wanted to be out with the crowd.
