not too far from Metro stations, quiet neighbourhood, very nice and calm park, caring and friendly staff, uncomplicated paperwork
mattress soft like a huge sponge. Didn't bother me but might annoy others...
Rooms are like hospital
Bed could be more comfortable
Very good value for its money. Everything you need to spend a night in Barcelona for a very reasonable price. Clean and tidy room. Convenient location near metro. And we really loved the area of the residence. It's located in a picturesque park full of trees, fountains and beautiful buildings. It's a pleasure to take a walk there. The hotel is a very good choise if you are travelling by car because it has own free parking and situated near the road ring.
All rooms are with separate beds. Very poor breakfast. The distance to some sights of Barcelona is quite far (12-14 stops). No hairdryer and toiletries in the bathroom.
Gardens were good
Noises from other rooms. Sewer smell in room. Spring Beds and mattresses very uncomfortable. Breakfast very poor. Located downhill and difficult to find. Wouldn't recommend to anyone
Fantastic garden, good wifi, good breakfast, clean towels everyday, near to metro
With a simple decorations could be possible to make rooms more cozy...
The hotel is located in a quiet area a little bit far from the city center. Staff was very kind, they spoke english and french. The breakfast was really fine and the rooms quite clean. Ideal for families. the place around the hotel is fabulous, with a charming building and extraordinary jardins.
wifi is not accessible in all parts of the building. it should be a little better insulated.
With such reasonable pricing it's one of the best options in Barcelona, imho. The room was simple but clean, comfortable and handy, plus a private bathroom in the room and good breakfast, which was greatly appreciated. The park around is just wonderful, a sight itself. The staff at the reception was always helpful and nice, no problems checking in and out at any hour. So that's my choice in Barcelona.
No negative impressions at all this time. Quite a distance from the city center is easily compensated by the metro station nearby and the availability of night buses. The absence of air conditioning might be a problem in summer, tho. But when we were there in October, we didn't feel any discomfort about that.
--beautiful campus --extremely helpful staff
--squeaky and uncomfortable bed
in general the place was good specially the gardens, the staff was very friendly and helpful
there was not any sign to tell where the place is, i spent about an hour circulating around the place and i did not know it was a few meters far
It is a budget hotel so don`t expect too much, but at least you have en suite bathroom and breakfast for the same money compering with other hotels. It is situated in the outskirt of the city,20 minutes by underground from the Pl.Catalunya .The underground station is 5 minutes from it.The hotel is quiet, and has a beautiful rustic garden. It looks like an old castle park.Probably in the past belonged to the church. The rooms are not too big,but cozy, and clean(they changed the towels and cleaned the room everyday).I found the bed comfortable. The stuff is helpful and friendly and can speak english. They have pretty big variety food for breakfast.
Only negative things are: 1. the wifi hardly works in the rooms. 2. there is not sign for the hotel when you looking for it at the first time.Write down the address and show it to any locals they will help(no need to speak spanish). It is a big grey metal gate which is closed but there is an intercom, it is written press long 0 and the bell. All in all I was satisfied I would choose this hotel again.
- nice garden - proximity to the metro - clean
- no fridge - same food for breakfast
free private parking
hard to find, no sign outside which would suggest what this is apart from the house number. Just separate beds, not for couples. It is a student accommodation... They do not replace anything at breakfast. when something runs out it's gone... I have not seen any bacon over the 4 bfast...
located within easy walking distance of metro station good breakfast to start the day lovely surroundings in a nice quiet area
not much going on around the complex
The gardens surroundings this place are stunning. It's a 5 min walk to the metro (easy to use) for access to all Barcelona's touristy things.
Take mosquito repellant (lots). Not very disabled friendly. Could do with a sign outside on the road it would make it easier to find
Metro is close, 5 minutes walk. Free parking. Friendly stuff. Only book it if you want a cheep hostel for 1-2 nights.
Very basic room, small, and the walls are paper thin. Tube lights in the room. There was hair on the bed sheets. Bad smelling bathroom. Breakfast is like a school canteen.
Close to subway station.
breakfast, price, elevator
location. It's close to a subway station, but the subway is not 24 hours
very good value for money: high quality/price ratio. Nice walking area around the residence. Brief walking distance to the nearest metro station.
Very good staff, amazing view from the window, good breakfast.
Towel dryer was not working, also there was no hair dryer in the room.
Only stayed for 2 nights so may not have seen all the fountains and statues. Buffet evening meal at 9 euros with wine was superb value if a tad basic.
There was a drain problem following heavy rain. It was difficult to locate in the first instance with a very discrete sign outside. Accessing the place in torrential rain not easy with a security gate and intercom.
1) Metro station 500 meters from hotel to get anywhere in city. 2)Free Parking 3) Breakfast - it was very improved from our stay thre one year ago
1) Stay there this trip two times. First time in regular doble rooms, beds are very old and not flat. Second time we book a superior room where beds were OK 2) Interet do not work at all rooms
