An absolute gem of a hotel. I will certainly go back. Family run - each guest individually welcomed and made to feel at home. Fabulous little terraces to sit/work/read/sunbathe. Off tourist track. Beautiful meals.

This hotel has been created out of a couple of buildings going up a hill beside the church, with parking available on the square. A maze of plant and bird filled patios ( pick your own oranges) led past a small plunge pool and to our room. The room, though comfortable, was dark. The restaurant on site offered a good choice of locally inspired dishes. The grilled cuttlefish not only looked amazing but was the best I've eaten anywhere. The hotel entrance was locked on our arrival at 4pm and we had to phone to gain access. Luckily we had a mobile with good reception and a phrase book!

Charming old building with extensivre gardens in an otherwise unprepossesing town but handy for the airport Tenerife Sur. Food - good local spanish dishes cooked to order The church bells do not ring from midnight until eight so do not, as one guidebook says, keep you awake

Le cadre est bien (belle restauration du bâtiment, déco avec des antiquités). Chambre de deux pièces. Proximité de l'aéroport sans entendre le balais des avions. Accueil un peu frais. L'hotel est géré par une famille qui occupe la place autant que le client. La porte de la chambre donnait sur la rue. La tête de lit faisait du bruit, mais a été fixée dès la première remarque.

Prachtig plattelandshotel, gelegen in het bovenste gedeelte van Granadilla de Abona. Het hotel en alle kamers zijn met veel smaak ingericht. Ik betaalde via www.booking.com 50 euro voor eenpersoonsgebruik van een tweepersoonskamer met airco, tv, (piep)kleine wasbak, bad (zonder afvoerstop; gelukkig heb ik er altijd eentje bij die op vele afvoeropeningen past), wc en een mooi uitzicht op het levendige stadje Granadilla de Abona. Ik at lekker in het restaurant en de prijzen vielen mee ondanks het feit dat het er redelijk sjiek uitzag (pas op: er komt wel 5% btw bij de prijzen). Het ontbijtbuffet was heel erg goed. Ergerlijk was de niet goed afgestelde radio tijdens het avonddiner in het restaurant.

Ein prachtvoll restauriertes altes Herrenhaus,liebevoll eingerichtet.Sehr schöner üppiger Garten,ruhige Lage.Ein Kontrast zu den gesichtslosen Hotelburgen. Unser Zimmer(Nr.2.!!,Achtung bei der Reservierung)hatte keine Fenster, sondern nur 2 Glasfüllungen in der Eingangstüre,sowie eine kleine Luke im hintersten Zimmereck.Es war dunkel,feucht,muffig,allerdings ruhig. Der Charme der Betreiberfamilie ist als gusseisern zu bezeichnen. Die Qualität der Küche ist gut,Preise und Portionsgrössen weichen vom ortsüblichen Niveau weit ab,und haben sich westösterreichischen Ver- hältnissen angenähert. Ich würde trotzdem das Hotel wieder aufsuchen,nicht das Zimmer Nr.2 reservieren und auswärts essen(was in Granadilla allerdings nicht ganz einfach ,aber dennoch möglich ist.)

Hôtel de charme, propre, calme. Hôtel typique canarien loin du tourisme de masse de la cote. Bon accueil en français. Nous avons été déçu par le restaurant de l’hôtel. N'ayant pas de concurrence dans la ville nous avons pris notre diner à l’hôtel. Service long, plats peu copieux quand on a randonné toute la journée.Et quelle ne fut pas notre surprise de voir au moment de payer l'addition que les prix affichés sur la cartes ne comprenaient pas la taxe de 5% et que le petit pain industriel de 40g coutait 0,90 euros.

Emplacement pratique car aéroport très proche. Supposons que nous avons eu une chambre débarras = 4 lits, possibilité de dormir à 6, nous étions 2 ! + fauteuils, ... difficile de se mouvoir dans cette pièce qui était froide et humide. Beaucoup de poussière. Attention: le restaurant n'est plus du tout à la hauteur de sa réputation; nourriture moins que quelconque, carrément écoeurante (ex.poisson archi-cuit et imbibé d'huile)ATTENTION à la carte des vins: les vins de dessert, chers, sont dans le même paragraphe que les vins de table.Une fois la bouteille ouverte, impossible de l'échanger ( car nous avions eu l'honnêteté de dire qu'il était bon mais qu'il ne pouvait se consommer avec des mets salés).Bien sûr, la serveuse,aimable comme 1 porte de prison, s'était abstenue de nous mettre en garde.
