It was near the city centre, the hotel was comfortable the food was good

Looked scruffy from the outside, not like the picture could do with a bit of a makeover. Hairdryer was broken, shower leaked very small garage

Location so close to Palencia old town yet parking was free on the road outside the hotel. Room was changed with no bother

very friendly reception staff , excellent place to stay on the way to santander for the ferry , its only 2 hours away

the barman was not very friendly.

A well run clean hotel with helpful staff

It was hard to find as there was no hotel sign displayed outside. It had "Residencia Catillio Ray" displayed on the wall but not vissable from the road.

Good location for onward journey to Santander. Parking good

Travelling from Galicia to Barcelona by motorbike, we used this hotel as a 1 night stopover. Having done this trip several times, I can honestly say this was the best hotel we have stayed in. The price was fantastic (€55) the room was huge, with a 2 metre wide bed and a seperate living room area with sofa and coffee table. The pool was an excellent way to refresh after a 5 hour ride. We didn't try the restaurant, so can't comment on the food. Definitely recommended.

The only fault was that the air conditioning unit in the room was very loud.

Excellent, food also. However, no facilities for my disability scooter except for outside, and that difficult to reach. The stairs were a nightmare for me, particularly the walk to breakfast on the lowest floor. Staff spoke no english and would or could not help. I found my own storage solution, in the garage with the cars, and could only use it on your premises by the pool and the outside eating area.

The staff were very helpful. Although we had a bit of a language barrier, they went out of their way to be helpful and we had no problem communicating. The room was lovely, clean and plenty of hot water!! We were in Spain to watch our son play in a football tournament and the Hotel Rey Sancho graciously made their pool available to our son and 5 of his teamates. Very accomodating! Kind and enthusiastic staff.

Honestly, I cannot think of a single thing other than their restaurant staff seemed a bit "snooty", though that definately could have been a cultural barrier. Still found them to be helpful.

Arrived at night. Would have been better had name of hotel been displeyad prominently. Was not sure it was correct hotel - had to get out to make sure. Sign visible from street would have helped.

El trato del personal. Ubicación excelente. Facilidad de aparcamiento.

En la habitación el mobiliario está un poco viejo, sin embargo el cuarto de baño está perfectamente actualizado.

Me gusto mucho, el espacio que hay para aparcar, no tienes que volverte loco para encontrar una plaza cerca.

El desayuno, bufet libre con posibilidad de yogurt, embutido, croasán, zumo, café, pan tostado, mermelada,... Las habitaciones son confortables.

Habitaciones totalmente reformadas, suelo de parquet, excelente ubicación. Muy limpio y confortable. Excelente relación calidad y precio. Sin problemas de aparcamiento y al lado de la calle mayor. Amenities en el cuarto de baño ( gel , limpia zapatos, gorro ducha , etc)

El aspecto exterior está descuidado parece de los años setenta pero no tiene nada que ver con el interior. Si ves el exterior te puedes llevar una opinión equivocada. Porque las habitaciones están muy bien.

Muy inhóspito y frio. No tiene aislamiento acústico en las habitaciones. Podíamos seguir la conversación de la habitación de al lado. Podían pavimentar el acceso al garaje. El desayuno es regular tirando a malo

- La atención del personal. - La situación, esta centrico pero al mismo tiempo es muy tranquilo, no tiene problema para aparcar.

- Las habitaciones necesitan una remodelación. se han quedado viejas. - No se si es de su propiedad, pero es muy desagradable el aspecto que tiene la antigua sala de fiestas, deberían hacer algo al respecto.

El precio me hizo probarlo Está muy bien ubicado muy cerca del centro de Palencia.

Aunque esta muy limpio y el personal encantador, se ha quedado un poco anticuado y necesitaría una reforma para hacer honor a sus estrellas.

El hotel está a un paso de la calle Mayor, eje de la vida económica de la ciudad; además tiene una situación inmejorable de acceso y aparcamiento fácil.

En general esta bien, pero es de los tiempos de Arturo Fernández.
