Hotel Servigroup Torre Dorada  

The hotel is clean and tidy. The staff are very pleasant, and go out of their way to help you. The room we had was large and airy. The food was more than adequate. We would definitely stay again. The price was fantastic for the quality of the hotel.

It is located on quite a steep hill. There is a lift to help ease this problem, but people should be aware of this. I would not recommend this for older people who cannot walk very far, or people who are unsteady on their feet. This was not a disadvantage for us, as the views from our bedroom was stunning, it was lovely to sit in the evening and watch the fireworks from the local fiesta.

This is our 3rd visit. We like most things about the hotel. Food is very good and varied, the staff are very helpful and the hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean.

The evening entertainment could be better. Need to get some better acts.

great hotel for the price. comfy beds, easy parking, good entertainment, good choice of spanish and english food, very smart and helpful staff. would not hesitate to stay there again

Excellent standard of room cleanliness, bed linen, and daily towel changes. Quiet location. Very comfortable bed. Very good buffet breakfast (I was staying half-board) with complete range of hot and cold foods and drinks. Overall excellent and recommended. [How useful would it be if hoteliers could reply to guests' reviews on our site? (see below) : Could be useful but where would it all end? Rights of reply?? On balance, no.]

We have stayed at the Torre Dorada for four Christmas breaks now, and everytime we have an exellent time, so we decided to try and see what it was like in the summer, and found that it was just as nice, we hope to be there again this Christmas. The staff are all very friendly and the restaurant is excellent.

The only thing we found difficult was number four carpark, very small for a car to turn in.

Location, Staff and Facilities

We were most impressed with the price of full board accomodation. The food was plentiful, varied, tasty and the restaurant staff were very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely seaview balcony. Parking was easy if somewhat expensive at 10 euros a day. The evenings' entertainments were good, polished and professional. We were struck by the variety of acts.

The hotel is perched atop a hill. Got quite fit going up and down but a pain. Receptionist had not read our request for a double bed so had to change rooms. The lifts are too small and there are not enough of them. When the hotel is full and at meal times it can take ages to get down to the restaurant especially if you are perched on the top floor !

Everything about this hotel was spot on, the rooms were spotless with fab views and the food was fantastic, you ate differently every meal time and would definately recommend to anyone to stay here!!!.

Good value for money, clean, staff very friendly/helpful, good selection of food (stayed h/b). Tho noisy once room next door was occupied (loud tv, loud talking).

No kettle/coffee-tea making facilities in the room. Bathroom windows is on adjoining room balcony, so unable to use whilst in bathroom!! Balcony Alluminium railings looked unsafe as very small brackets only screwed to the floor (kept my children away when noticed (we were on 10th floor)!! Lack of evening entertainment in the hotel. We sought other around all closed, nearby hotels only catered for elderly ppl (nothing wrong with that), we made our way to central Benidorm most evenings. More info of places to visit, transport, etc to be displayed in lobby required (buses timetables and times on bus stops not very clear). Too many steps to beach, not listed.

We live in Spain and friends had been and told us it was really nice, so we booked and were pleased with the location and our room overlooked the whole of Benidorm and the beaches. The hotel, food and staff were very good and we enjoyed going to the Spanish side of Benidorm, where is was quiet and not as busy as Levante beach end, which we normally go to. We would go again. Parking on the streets at this time of year was good and we did not have to pay for parking in the hotel which was 10 euros per day.

The only down side was that there was no hairdrier in the rooms, but you could borrow one from the reception and use it. Also I would not recommend the hotel to anyone with walking difficulties as it is quite a steep hill to get to the hotel.
