the food was excellent (especially breakfast, really what we expected from the place)..excellent main building.. rather charming..the only "-" for us was the location.. there's nothing to do there without a car..

Nice, relaxing place to stay with a nice pool and grounds. Near Costa Brava beaches and other sightseeing.

Not worth the money... the room wasn't nice enough for the price. The dinner offered at the hotel wasn't very good either and was pricey.

For the price, I was a bit surprised at the lack of internet service. However, I was secretly relieved that I didn't have to suffer the guilt of being out of touch with my usual daily life.

The location, the style and ambience of the main house. The service provided by reception. The breakfast.

It was expensive for what it offered.

The hotel is very nice and cosy, with very dedicated people. The location of the hotel is excellent, away from the crowd but not to far if some entertainment is needed. The beach "Castell" is also a must.... one of the last wild and remote beach of the Costa Brava,... and this only five minutes driving from the hotel.

We loved our room in the main building. Staff were very friendly and even brought fruit out to us by the pool on two occasions which was a nice touch. Lovely pool. Great breakfast. Nice seating areas in the hotel to relax. Had a lovely, relaxing five days there and spent most of the time in and around the hotel.

Had got the impression from other reviews that evening meals were available but they are not (however there is at least one nice restaurant 10mins walk away). The bar and lunchtime food options were a bit limited. Could do with a few more loungers and umbrellas by the pool. Not sure the room floor had been swept before we arrived and was only done once while we were there. Could have done with a mirror in the bedroom and not just the bathroom. More hangers in the wardrobe (only 5 for 2 people). (These are just our observations and impacted little on our stay as we had a lovely time)

The buildings, grounds and pool were all lovely and the surroundings were very attractive and quiet. It was a very tranquil place surrounded by vineyards and countryside. There was no restaurant at the hotel but the restaurant in the local village was only five minutes walk and had good food at very good prices. The bed was very comfortable. A good base to explore the coast and villages.

We had a triple room in the new block with our daughter, but there was very little sound proofing between the rooms and we could hear a lot of noise from the next room, which was rather disturbing. We had the AC on at night after that which helped to mask the noise. It would have been nice for the room to have had a garden chair on the little terrace area.

We got a large room for a family (2+2). The small hotel was elegantly furnished and decorated. The swimming pool was of good size. Breakfast was simple, but excellent. A perfect place for relaxing after days in Barcelona.

The restaurant was closed. The hotel is a bit expensive.

The staff are so friendly at Ses Arrels. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. The rooms and grounds are beautiful. It was the perfect escape we were looking for!

La limpieza deja mucho que desear. En pleno diciembre hormigas por toda la habitació , que era una suite, icluso en la cama

El detalle que tuvieron en decorarme la habitación tal como les había comentado por tratarse de una celebracíón especial con mi pareja. Todo un detalle por parte del personal del hotel!! Así mismo, todas las instalaciones del hotel, la ubicación y tranquilidad del lugar y el desayuno variado.

L'entorn és molt agradable I l'habitació és espaiosa I austera. El llit fa 2 m I mig d'ample. L'emorzar es molt correcte.

La relació qualitat-preu. A l'habitació hi havia petits detalls que li fan perdre encant: un llum trencat, alguna cortina despenjada, el tv desprogramat... éS un hotel de luxe sense ser-ho.
