Score from 1008 reviews Excellent
Great little hotel in Sevilla...close enough to the cathedral if you dont mind a walk. Clean, friendly, wifi and hot water....the important things for me.
Breakfast not top quality.
Close to bus to train station. Sits on busy plaza with restaurants.
Air conditioning was ineffective. Had to open windows. Beds need replacing. No safe. No mini-frig. Front desk doesn't speak English.
Our triple room was not big, but nicely decorated (loved those red southern style window blinds!). The lobby and hallways have quite a unique decor, too. Some rooms (or I am guessing most of them) face a small plaza with benches and coffee tables, so at times in our room we could hear live Spanish guitar music being played outside and the church bells ringing (there are couple of churches located very near) - it felt wonderful. The staff was nice and after we checked out they let us keep our luggage in their storage room for much longer than we expected without extra charge.
Bathroom door handle was broken
Location in the centre of the old city makes everywhere walkable.
The room and bathroom were small.
The bathroom was really tiny.
Situated right in the center, it is a lovely hotel. Nice and clean rooms with comfortable beds and furnished bathrooms. The staff is kind and helpful.
In some rooms there is no hairdryer.
Big and stylish rooms, bathroom has a bath! Near to the centre.
Good location in a beautiful square, close to shops and the city center. Clean rooms. The staff at reception is very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist that did the night shift.
Awesome value for money. Great location.
Wonderful hotel right on a pretty square not far from the city center. Really great price/quality ratio.
Really difficult to reach by car
Price Location Colours Cleaning staff
1 grumpy and unhelpful reception staff 2 switchinq off of aircon very early morning 3 outside door to street locked too often
The rooms were very cool and the air conditioning was perfect. There were a few english channels on the TV which was good, and everything was very clean. The breakfast buffet was good too. The staff were really helpful and even charged my mobile for me when I didn't have a spanish adaptor. The shops are nearby too - El Corte Ingles, Zara and lots of cheap food.
The staff were very lovely, but they didn't speak a lot of English. There was no other food or room service apart from the breakfast buffet.
Breakfast, simple, but good
No ice available at the Hotel
We loved our room in Sevilla. It was a pretty hotel and the service was excellent. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Spain and was definitely worth it!
Location on the square, very central. Comfortable rooms
No coffee n tea in room
The hostel had a good atmosphere & staff were so nice and helpful. Highly recommend.
Nothing negative to report.
Pretty we'll located. Good breakfast.
It was not easy to find it. The street name is not well known by the local people.
The room was small but very clean and quiet, the staff were very nice and helpful, excellent location. Would go back.
Excellent location, perfect for active tourists. Everything virtually at hotel's doorstep.
Not too bad but noisy mornings and evenings because of the San Andres church bells and the piazza restaurants in front of hotel.
Everything. The location is excellent.
- Location is ideal, close to the main attractions while still local - Small square in front of the hotel is ideal for a late drink together with the Spanish locals - Quite recently renovated; looks nice and clean - Wifi is perfect; good signal and fast - Breakfast basic but complete incl some fresh fruit and tortilla
- Matrasses are hard. Not very nice for side sleepers. - Requested double bed, but there seem to be very little rooms with double beds available - expect twins - Temperature of airco can be controlled, but on/off is arranged centrally (and turned off at night) - Breakfast served between 8:30 and 11:30. Better to decide to include breakfast from day to day instead of pre-booking to have more flexibility. - Unfortunately no mini-bar - Price: rates in Seville seem to be high - highest rate ever paid (compared to f.i. Lisbon, Barcelona, Dublin, Porto, Bologna)
Location. The room facing the street was on the shadowy side so it didn't get too hot.
I was expecting a bit more from this hotel based on other reviews and pictures. The room we were given was not modern, the furniture was old, the room itself pretty dark and gloomy (the red ceiling doesn’t help, although the chandelier was beautiful). The beds were terribly uncomfortable with springs sticking in your back. Bathroom needs a renovation and there was a weird problem with the shower – it would continue being extremely hot for several minutes even when the handle was completely turned to cold. Perhaps some rooms were renovated (based on the pictures), but our wasn’t. The room was facing the street with a little square in front of a church with orange trees growing around – very pretty, but rather loud in the evenings since there are several cafes there and people start dining at about 8 pm and do not finish until very late. The breakfast was poor – just a couple of hams and cheeses, toasts with jam, juice and coffee, and plain pastry, like croissants. Actually the biggest problem with the breakfast is that it starts at 8-30 am – very late for someone who wants to see the city (it gets REALLY hot in the afternoon) or go to other places (like Cordoba or Cadiz) and inconvenient with train times etc. The wi-fi connection in our room was a joke – it kept disconnecting every 30 seconds and when it was connected it was very slow. One day we did not want the room to be made-up and hung up a “do not disturb” sign on the door, but the maid entered anyway – what is the sign for if you’re going to disturb the people anyway (I suppose, she knocked before entering and if we were in the room that would qualify as disturbing to my understanding). There is no safe in the room and you have to return the key to reception when leaving the hotel, so to my understanding there are safety issues (to be fair, not every reception person made us return the key, so we didn’t do it every time). The air-con was not working even though it was like 36 degrees durring our stay.
Location, helpful staff, and changed my rooms when I asked.
Initially room without window!
- Location in Seville City Centre
- Access in car was difficult and parking is far from the hotel
