The location was very good, just a few minutes walk to main shopping area and about 15 mins meander to the old quarter. Our room faced the main street but we didn't notice any problem with traffic noise. The best feature of the hotel is the roof-top pool and sun-lounging area. Both are quite small, but it made such a difference to have all the benefits of a fascinating city along with the chance to soak up the sun and relax in the afternoon. If all the sunbeds are in use there are still tables and chairs which are fine for reading and snoozing. We chose not to include breakfast, so can't comment on that, but would just mention that a couple of minutes to the left of the hotel entrance is a Valor chocolate shop where you can get a good value breakfast deal. We would certainly choose this hotel again when we return to Seville. Just one note of caution - we took the airport bus into town and found it was still a long, hot trudge with luggage to reach the hotel. Take a taxi ! ( when returning to the airport there is a taxi rank directly opposite the hotel )

Hotel personnel were extremely helpful. Staff spoke English and Spanish. Hotel was centrally located for local attractions - Gothic cathedral, Moorish castle, the river, Avenue de la Constitution, good food, chocolate shop, bike rental shop (can have bike dropped off and picked up at hotel), frozen yogurt shop. Was within blocks of the first laundry we could find in 2 1/2 weeks (on Calle de Castelar). Made reservations for us for great flamenco show.

There is a very relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel, the staff very obliging and helpful. Rooms are well appointed and the bathrooms excellent - we had two rooms and the quality was consistent. Bar never appeared to be open during our stay, and breakfast was very expensive at 16 euros each - however there is a very nice cafe opposite that we had breakfast at 14 euros for all four of us.

A lovely, comfortable hotel. Lovely room (405). Great location - on the edge of the old town. Nice touches included : free tea + coffee making facilities (topped up every day), free safe + a mini bar that you could use for your own stuff. Excellent stay. As above - lovely. Also used the spa which was a reasonable 18 euros for 2 people. For that, you got sole use of hot tub, steam room, sauna + showers for 1 hour. Really enjoyable stay.

The position of Hotel was good, the rooms where spacious,& facilities in the room good.Buffet breakfast very good,& staff very helpfull. We where dissapointed that the Hotel had no Internal Restaurant& also no loung bar facility without going into the adjoining cafe bar, As we were on a special birthday holiday trip we expected more internal facilities.

Our stay at the Hotel Becquer was one of the most pleasant during our three weeks in Spain. The location was central to the "must see" sites in most guidebooks. Bikes were available (free of charge) and made city siteseeing a real pleasure. A bonus at the end of a busy day was the access to a massage at the Spa and/or the rooftop pool and patio with a city view. The hotel restaurant offered the best "gourmet" tapas we ate on our entire trip and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful with our requests for information. Highly recommend this hotel to all travelers of all ages.

Nice clean hotel, we found a free parking space right in front, free internet in the room, good location for visiting the city. The staff was polite and helpful. The pool on the roof doesn't have a terrace. The bathroom was equipped for disabled people, there was no bathtub...

Service was excellent. We were two adults and two children; 1 year and 9 years old. The room was spacious and especially the bathroom. Quiet and nice, possible to sleep well at all times, even if Semana Santa was going on right in front of the hotel door! Very good breakfast. For the nine years old, it was great to have a pool on the roof, even if it was cold... In total: If the family went to Seville again, I woould stay in the same hotel.

Location, location, location. Quiet room. A niece welcome at the reception on arrival. The " coffee shop" is a great asset for tired tourists at the end of along day and also do a good breakfast. The hotel did not appear to have a reliable system for dealing with messages left at the reception for guests.

Ideally located on the edge of the old district and near the Guadalquivir River. All places of interest are within walking distance. A very spacious, luxurious room and bathroom, with fully equipped fridge and good room service. The decoration of the room is fine. Beautiful breakfast included in price: plenty of fruit and pastries, together with fried or scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages, tomatoes.... Also a café belonging to the hotel for those who do not wish to go out. Helpful, non intrusive staff; excellent value for the money!

Great location and very nice room. I also rent two bikes at the hotel and parked our car in the hotel's garage. The hotel is quite but people at the bar outside were noisy until 5 in the morning. We asked to change room and the following night we did not hear any noise at all.

“I cme to stay one night. I ended up staying four. I was in Spain on a workig holiday and found the hotel perfect for my purposes. All the facilities you normally require for a business hotel, very comfortable room, a good restaurant with excellent views from the 13th floor, not overly expensive, friendly staff. For relaxation it is a nice 10 - 15 min. Walk to The Barrio se Santa Cruz or about the same time to fc Sevilla´s soccer stadium. Next time I am in Sevilla, wether on business or pleasure, I will definttely stay at the Sevilla Centre. ” Stig, Trollhättan |
